I need to replace the pop up green one as mine too was destroyed by a mower. Instead of grass,.I suggest putting a few inches of pearock around the grate, to keep grass from growing. Spray it a couple of times a year to keep grass/weeds from growing in the pearock
@@TheHighlanderLawn further suggest a bit of lawnscape weed barrier under the pearock (and around the drain). That should help prevent the growth of grass or weed in the pearock
Would love to see a video on how to install one of these from scratch--what parts to use, how much they cost, how/where to dig and install, how long it takes, etc. My gutters just dump out at the bottom of the downspout, and it is a little too close (to the house) for comfort...
Well now that I am done in my yard. I will have to wait for the next opportunity to do a full install . Thankfully it's not super hard just have to set it in the right spot and I would most likely use schedule 40 PVC vs the corrugated "flex" pipe. Thank you for your comment
@@TheHighlanderLawn I need some installed. If you want to do the job you can also record it and post a video to show the process. If you are willing/interested message me and we can work out the price and arrangements and such.
If you watch close enough. It comes up to the top of my hips and I have to crouch down to get under it!! But I am glad that it amused you brother!! LOLOLOL
I always enjoy your common sense videos
Thanks I really appreciate it. I try to use something that is getting harder to find these days!! LOL
The tramp line is back! 🙃 OAKS should be happy! I’m happy for her!
She is happy, for a few days anyways.
Like your video intro 👍🏻 good editing too
Thanks brother. I appreciate it. Sorry that it took me sooo long to reply. I have been working on a massive overhaul on my sprinkler system.
Nice job! You do good work.
Martin, Thank you I greatly appreciate it. I am a huge believer in doing it right the first time. LOL
