These are new SMC SRD speed run drag lipos. I did warm them up to about 107 degrees and IR was 1.5 each cell and that’s how I received them also. I don’t overcharge because I get in trouble with people for doing that. I really think it’s a binding issue in the rear differential. Going to re shim it and see if we can reduce that drag. And it’s not the pinion I know because I’m not over geared.
33.7 to 24.3 volts. That's huge! What are your batteries? Are they balanced and are the IRs low enough? Also to note, that huge voltage drop could lead to a brown out to the receiver causing the radio to signal drop. Radiolink already has signal drop issues already. Experienced them myself. there was no fix for it.
Thanks I’ve experienced signal loss plenty of times and find myself swapping receivers quite frequently. But I guess that why they are $15. I always balance any lipos. Spend way to much money to not get all the life out of them as much as I can. And these are SMC SRD speed run drag lipos. Only two runs on them IR was 1.5 on cells
@MatrixRC yea I got rid of all of my faulty radiolink stuff. But when I had mine the signal issues got so bad, the thing would drop out within 10 feet. And this was bad for my off-road cars and racing. Moved to flysky for my race cars and Futaba for my bashers and they do well, and I had no regrets on moving so. I know a couple who run the radiomaster mt12 elrs and that radio has twice the range as any ordinary radio.
@@MatrixRC 1.5 is pretty good so definitely not a battery issue. Unless you hook a small low voltage alarm cell checker to the batteries in the car and the alarm says otherwise. Had a voltage drop issue with my rustler and the esc would cut out. Turns out it was dropping .45v, turned off the LVC and it fixed the issue. But SMCs are pretty good batteries so probably not a issue there. Binding in the diff / drive train could certainly be the issue there.
Well there's 100% a difference in the rolling sound there bro.. between the 2 RC's I've got the felony but never noticed that sound from it I will investigate and see if it sounds like your one there. .... The limitless sounds so much better and less binding in the drive train.
Yeah after further investigation I think I have a shim issue in the rear. I’m going to take it apart again and re shim the diff. Hopefully we can reduce the binding noise. I think I’m losing 10mph because of it.
@MatrixRC wow that's a lot... Yeah it kinda all makes sense probably why it's eating the power from the batteries too... And something small can be such a pain .... Hope you sort it bro. I'll be looking forward to the run vid .... Thanks for the comment man. 😉💥💪
Good info... Salute!
Thanks. I’m still tinkering with this thing to get it perfect 👍🏾
What batteries are dropping to 24 volts? If so you need to try overcharge and heat
And get the IRs down too. IRs are 1 leading cause to voltage drop.

Wouldn't mind doing speed runs with you guys
Hey we don’t mind either. It will be a fun day
@MatrixRC let's shoot for a Saturday or Sunday in the next few weeks. I follow you on IG also, I'll DM you there
