My quilting friends were i Live Now wouldn’t get It, they’d Think Im nuts but one of these days Im going to do one just for me. I turn 80 next month, Im an avid quilter, and love stretching the brain with new things. Thank you for The challenge

You are a favorite quilter of mine. I love watching how you work the fabrics. This particular quilt would just dumb found me - I wouldn’t have the slightest idea of how to put it together. Thank you for sharing your talents. ❤️😁🌹

I love watching you puzzle this out. Gives us ideas for making quilts from our own orphan blocks, especially ideas on how to make them more cohesive. I've done a sampler quilt for a fundraiser where many different people made blocks with the challenges of blocks not all the same size. It's interesting that the styles of blocks are so varied, from extreme improv to very traditional. Fun to see how you pull it all together.

LOL...I'm so surprised, but I'm watching this video I'm talking and hollering at the screen like my brother does watching football games. 'No over there' 'turn- turn' 'yup there you go' Anyway, I really appreciated watching how you thought through this.

It’s so much fun watching you put these blocks together. I’ve never made anything like this, but you are inspiring me to try someday. What do you do with a quilt like this once it’s completed?

Hats off to you kiddo, as many of the fabrics in these blocks are truly awful, and the pairings within the blocks even more awful. Improv does not mean casting away basic design and colour handling principles...which you use in attempting to get the blocks to work together, well done! But your fixes point up the fact that every block deserves fabrics that work together and thoughtful construction.

These have "themes" but you don't say what they are.

I’m finding it difficult to watch you take apart other people’s blocks that they have made for the swap. Was this agreed?

Yes, it was part of the instructions to alter the blocks.

You have a lot of patience to work with deconstruction. Using the seam ripper is 🫨 to me.
