This is what South Carolina sounds like on a warm July night. I’m not a summer person but I will always love this sound. Especially when camping and you can see the stars above and there’s that really faint breeze. Ugh I love it.
I went to sleep to this sound so many times in my youth, now it's the only way I can. Thanks to you. Thank you for providing me a way to easy my weary mind.
I've tried to find out before about the sound in the background whether it's a cicada or not. Not the constant sound but off and on pause then hear it again. I'm assuming that for sure it is. That is one of my favorite summer night sounds. It takes me back to when I was a kid. My grandparents had land down in lake country. Little sounds of tin cups hitting the water spout we had for running water would travel all over during the early morning. I remember the scent of bacon and eggs cooking. It was a nice setup on a couple of wooded acres with forest all around. I would listen to Whippoorwills at night singing, along with the sounds on this video.
As a kid sometimes I wanted to scream at the cicadas/crickets to shut up...now I need them to lull me to sleep This is the only sound I use. It brings me right back to sleeping at my grandparents house everytime
Yes! Finally one that sounds like a summer night at Grandmas! 😴☺️
