Just today I was trying to take a nap, was listening to brown noise and found that it was 'featureless' and this gave my mind no 'picture' to focus on that would help my body 'let go' - I have found the brown noise excellent for backgrounding computer work but not so helpful for getting into a nap. I think what you have done here might be my solution, rain sounds to give my imagination something to latch on to, brown noise for the way it blurs tension out of my muscles. Cool.

Sometimes I notice this too like the rain is too noisy, or the crickets are too much and it’s too much for me so I can’t relax. The brown noise will get too dull, like it’s ALL I can focus on so I can’t sleep; but this combo gives me both and I feel the same way you do now - like I can just sink into a sleep
Good point. And I agree. I've been sleeping with a brown noise on my TV, and rain on my phone for months. Great combo. This is pretty perfect of a mix right here tho.

My 1 year old has been riddled with post nasal drip & he has his molars coming in. This was the only track that kept him napping & 12 hours with no ads it is Heaven sent! i've been using rain and noise to soothe him since I was pregnant with him & this is one of the best by far! The rain sound is soothing , not like others -metallic, hissing or sharp sound, it seems more acceptable for my tinnitus. All doctors recommend white noise but it seems to bother me more . If this is what is called brown noise- then I love brown noise better . Thank you

The steady tone of mild rainfall and heavy sound of obnoxious droplets of solitude make an easy slip into deep sleep for sure.
I love that the rain isn’t too loud or weird sounding. Sometimes rain recordings just sound like white noise to me and it’s too high pitch and noisy, but this rain is perfect.
Perfect brown noise rain sounds I’ve been looking for. Also, Thank you for making it 12 hours. Sometimes the other sounds that work for me are only 3 hours.
With shorter videos, you can always loop them. Although I agree, this video is perfect.
Im at a children's hospital away from home with my 4 year old daughter. We are here a month now. She is recovering from heart surgery. She and i are not sleeping through the nights. I just came across this. It's so amazing, and i can't hear any noise out in the hallway with this playing in our room. I love the steady sounds, no up and down in high and low pitched tones. I'm in love only 2 mins into this sleep music.

Sometimes youtube decides to run ads in the middle of the video to generate more revenue (and to make people go premium) even though the creator has the ads turned off. Terrible choice for this kind of video, both for the viewer and for us creators who just wanted to create something relaxing for you to enjoy...
