I am little late to the party (e.g., nintendo switch, etc. ) and still have my old console from 1989. This revamped game looks amazing; where and now may I get my hands on this to play myself?
Yeah, it's one of the reasons the PS2 is the best selling console of all time. It wasn't much more expensive than a regular DVD player, which basically meant it was always in stock. It was also fully backwards compatible with the PS1, which was also very successful. I definitely started using it as a DVD player and PS1 before I got a few PS2 games.

If I want to play or make Zelda clone games there is always "Zelda Classic. " It has been around since the late 90's and 100's of Zelda type games has been made by fans using that game engine and editor. Well it's not really a rom hack but a pc program but it mimics the original well and you can also add countless of new things and features.
Armageddon Games released Zelda Classic back in 1999 and there have been many what I call "homebrews" over the years. One of the best titles I ever came across was "Link in Castlevania".
@@nashvillan4lifYes, I remember running it under Dos 6.22(?) and windows 3.11 back then. Newer versions have far more features but still have the old Dos feel to them.

I'd hate to say it but I actually kind of suck at the original Zelda. I don't think it's a bad game or anything I just am not good at it. Now I actually think the original Metroid sucks because there's too many rooms it look the same and it's really hard to know where you're going, but back to Zelda. I grew up in the nineties and I started with a link to the past on the SNES. I also played Ocarina of Time but actually play that a lot later. I played Link's Awakening before that. In fact I had actually beaten four swords adventure before I ever fully completed Ocarina of Time. In fact my first time ever playing the original Legend of Zelda was actually on Super smash Bros brawl in a bleep was the masterpieces section where you can play very short demos of classic games that feature the various characters of Super smash Bros brawl. A little later I did in fact download the original Legend of Zelda on the Wii virtual console and again I still kind of sucked at it. It's disappointing how bad I am at the original Zelda when I'm generally really great at video games and I'm also quite good at A Link to the past. I think the reason why I have difficulty with the original Zelda is because of how the sword works in that game. In A Link to the past the sorts wipes are animated to the point that it's not just right in front of you but it's like goes all over the front of you from a full-on 90-degree angle pretty-much across your body so it's a lot easier to hit your target with your sword. Unlike in the original sell dope with a sword just literally appears smoking in front of me when you attack and it's instant. And the fact that you can't move diagonal or attack at an angle has definitely been a tough adjustment for me. I'll give the game another shot on my switch sense of a ton of classic NES games in there as well as of course SNES, N64, Genesis, Game Boy, and GBA, but anyway maybe if I just practice bad enough I could adjust to how it plays. It just kind of feels like a tough adjustment what I'm used to the later games especially since I grew up with the later games and had for once finally played the original by the time I was already twenty years old in 2008 when playing brawl so I hadn't had any practice growing up.
It looks fun but the graphical arrangement seems to lack homogeneity. I feel like this will get very off-putting very quickly. I'm still going to give it a shot.
