Yep! & return asap on holiday to refine a few problems you have thought about! I've seen a lot of guys eg. eyes of Owen, steady Eddy, others go on & on about it for years getting deeper into depression either giving up or a desperate trip poorly thought out only to return. I initially moved to Thailand but as a professionally qualified person found it a waste of my skills not being able to work, so luckily I immigrated to OZ on a business visa & now I am a citizen (not allowed in Thailand) where i can visit Asia as much as possible. A few things to think about Mark
I'll be honest, I would NOT move to Pattaya full-time... 5 days max for me in that 'place'. So many other places in Thailand are of better quality, and are more true to Thailand, not to mention the lack of 'real' people. Have you travelled Thailand? Lived in various places in Thailand including Bangkok and Chiang Mai, and only witnessed trouble in Pattaya... I wonder why?! I don't know your personal preference with regards to orientation, or if you are married, or whatever?! No idea... really depends on that. Can you work remote? If I was in your position I would just go for 3 months and test the water. A holiday somewhere is VERY different to living there. I could never live in Pattaya full-time. Great for a few days, but after that, it's not for me.
This guy is just wanting attention. He asks everyone whether he should move to Thailand but then offers up no vital basic info that we'd all need in order to even begin answering his question. Waste of time responding to him.
Methinks you already know the answer 😂 I knew after my first visit I wanted to move out there…and once you get that thought in your head it’s hard to shake it and if you don’t give it a try, then thinking “what if” 10 years from now will do your head in. So long as you can afford it and you don’t go falling in love and buy a bar or build a house in Issan…… Go for it!! 🇹🇭
If you got no kids or anyone relying on you and you have a job you can do while in Thailand and then yes 100%, why not. Sell the Audi that’ll pay for ur rent! If you own the house rent it out for 12 months through an agent, and maybe take 12 months out and see how it goes, What do you have in the uk keeping you here? I got a kebeb in treetown by the seating area, it was a kebeb wrap I had it several nights after a night out, 100baht , it was nice 👍🏻
Hi great vlogs mate👍 Lots 'n' lots to consider mate about moving over there. I've travelled the world. SLOW DOWN PLEASE. MONEY is the first thing. Health care the second. NEVER SELL YOUR HOME IN UK , ONLY RENT IT OUT. I've be going to pattaya since 1989. Yes truely a fantastic fun place to holiday. Luv it, I'm back in Aug & xmas . You've travelled to Thailand before so you do know there are ""loads"" of peeps who will take your eyes out for your cash :( Sorry to be pessimistic so so many scammers. Never let your guard down. Please watch who you befriend. My advice for what it's worth is. 2x long holidays twice a year: 60 days x twice, enjoy yourself, watch your cash. Careful of the cash hungry girls 😂 cheers Jay
I agree u need 30k as a minimum to move there and utube won't make u enough to live there so u will run out of money after a year without some kind of online work so living in Thailand very difficult.better options in South East Asia to live like Malaysia or Vietnam Cambodia Thailand very difficult because of the financial requirements for visas to stay there long term .
I would say for a comfortable first year , £24K savings will cover it . Thats £2000 a month . The UA-cam money will be small and slow the first 1-2 years . Even guys with 40,000 subs and hitting 25,000 views per video only get $1000-$2000 a month . I personally know a few . So that’s great , but that takes years of putting the time in . If you own your property, rent that while you are away . That’s will bring in income . Good luck . I love my 2 trips a year , 6-8 week trips . It’s a great balance
No no no no. Don’t do it. Pattaya is a great holiday place. Living there is a whole different experience, alcohol consumption becomes an issue. 3 blogs per day ???? Just one a day is plenty. Work another 5yrs and maybe consider moving but beware my friend tread with extreme caution
You obviously want to live in Thailand 🇹🇭 partaya you did well with 1k subscription and being new kid on the block a new likeable lad 👦 But pattaya has had so many youtubes it's all been done ✔️ Your jyst be going over same stuff as others have I think you do have a following 😉 gooduck which ever route you choose one life live it
Mark! should you retire to Thailand you ask, i did 4 years ago and for me it’s great BUT i’m past me sell by date lol, you at your age just to think doing videos will be enough to satisfy you, not sure about that, don’t put all your eggs in one basket is my advice, 3 months here go away a couple months and return again do that couple years test the water as it we’re, don’t burn your bridges, good luck!
If you think it's financially viable go for it mate, you only live once if you own your own home don't sell rent it out ,so you have a backstop if it does go tits up,my advice would be to go after rainy season I wish you all the best in your endeavours,I'll be watching your journey mate keep up the great work
Youve been to Pattaya twice? Your 35-38yo? I think your dreaming mate.Your going to make 3 vlogs a day? IMO thats overkill.I wouldnt keep moving hotels( thats wasting money) IMO.I would think the most succesful Pattaya vloger( making money wise) would be Buzzin or Everything Pattaya. And there many years older than you.Go for 2m,and then you might have a different view on things.Rather than a 2w millionare. I worked out your 2w spend.£5k.That should last you 4-5m,next time.PS.Its not how many subs you get,its how many views each vlog gets.A woman vlogger explained this. Its about 100$ per 100k views.😲
In my opinion if you can get you'reself out of holiday mode if you go then why not, regarding UA-cam,there are to many at it now who all portray themselves as experts , so if you you are hoping to make some money from vlogging, then you must be unique in you're content to obtain interest and keep the interest of you're subscribers, I'm not going to point out the worst, but I will point out 2 of the best, 1. Bangkok pat by far the best youtuber in Thailand, take a look !! 2. Trev buzzin Pattaya Trev puts alot of effort into his vlogs, does the research , and covers everything there is to know about Pattaya, where to go etc etc , very helpful content. Maybe you have your own on line business ( not You Tube)..or you are a landlord with a portfolio of properties ?
