1st phase: slow pace big thumping sound cuz you fight a huge boss 2nd Phase: fast pace rhythm, "ooh its on lets f'n go!" every time I'm going for this boss "ok time to increase bgm volume", sadly gigantix version use gigantix bgm instead
The composer itself from idola phantasy star saga (dead mobage in jp), that's why has the same vibe from there. It's fits perfectly for the retem region. If you know the name of composer let me know.
Interesting tidbit: This theme song is somewhat a derivative of the Final Boss Theme song of Dark Falz Cave from the IDOLA Phantasy Star Saga, a very nice composition as well. Hear it for yourselves, maybe you'll get to hear what I think is the inspiration for Dustyl Vera's theme.

We won't know for sure until the OST is announced/comes out, but I think it may have been Kenichi Tokoi. If I'm not mistaken he composed most tracks for Idola Phantasy Star Saga, and the Retem boss themes have a similar feel to the Idola Saga tracks.
