      +Pyther Gark $400-500 computer doesn't have the same performance as a $1000 laptop I guarantee you. Not only that your $400-500 probably doesn't come with a half decent keyboard or mouse and NO monitor what so ever. To be able to even use your shit box of a PC would be almost $1000. The laptop to desktop performance argument only exists in Mid and up category of PC's for example an 4790k with a 970.

    @ 4:15 : Instead of blocking the Serial Number with a black box, block it with the same color as the background; so it's not being a distraction. Just a tip. I think it would be better. I might be the only one. I don't know. Great video though!

    HDD RPM doesn't independently affect transfer speed/performance.. its the amount of data that can be carried/transferred per revolution on the HDD. Apple uses the higher standard HDD 5400RPM that allows more data to be transferred per revolution, thus allowing faster transfers of more information per revolution.

    i have a cheap computer g3258 270x

  • @WedgeBob
    @WedgeBob 9 років тому +2

    I wish that HDD manufacturers would just go SSD or Hybrid, I mean, even 7200 RPM HDDs just are painfully slow nowadays at times. Won't be too long until ALL mechanical HDDs are rendered obsolete in favor of Vertical SSDs (Samsung certainly knows how to replace mechanical platter technology).

    Maybe the bit density on it is bigger. Any info on that? The rpm isn't the only thing that affects speed. You could have lower rpms and a higher bit density and get similar speeds. But yeah SSD should be standard. Apple has been pretty lame lately with their underwhelming specs and higher prices.
