I've ordered one and am now waiting for delivery! Can't wait to start the build. I'll definitely be returning to re-watch (over and over) for tips. Thanks v much!
I bought this boat for my dad in the late 90's. He finished it about 2 months later (I had no clue all this work was involved). Sadly he has recently passed on. I just found the boat stashed away in moms garage attic today! Needs a bunch of mending...hopefully Dumas has parts available. Thanks for the great reference pictures.
Even the tin clamps on your jackstand seem to approve of your beautiful work smiling in awe. Now you need a bigger kitchen for the full size Riva Aquarama project. Thankyou:)
felicitation , very nice model and good slide show on the construction. I am in the process to finish my own dumas chris craft and ready to apply the mahogany latte on the hull and deck : what kind of glue are you using ? I am effraid the wood glue is too slow and need clamping , same for the epoxy I was thinking about CA glue ? I will appreciate your input on that . thank you in advance .
dumas give you all the wood and the hardware , the wood is precut and excellent instruction book with plenty of pictures step by step , but it is not for a beginner !
+Gus cedeno It was Testors Spray "Racing Green". I think I ordered it from Hobbylinc.com. The gold, sorry but don't remember the name but it was du Pont auto lacquer in a spray can I think from Autozone.

Hola. Felicitaciones por su trabajo. Tengo una duda. ¿Que resina se usa, epoxi o poliester ? Gracias.
Incredible build & finishing, really like the green & nice detailing of the seating areas. Great boat!!

CA is the only way!
Very nice build.
How long is the model?
so with dumas do they give you the wood or do you have to buy your own wood and cut it?

+Richard Pattillo thank you so much just want my boat to look like your thank you again.
nice job!, but forgot to stain mahogany, reddish, stain, before clear coats,, brings out grain, &, looks like prototype!!!
Neither did Christopher!!! None had stain. Mahogany naturally darkens with age.
I bought you a boat darling!
