it's a good car this, my friend has one of these. driven it 2-3 times already, much better than his 2018 xpander. my only complain is this car doesn't have a footrest, the brake pedal position is too high, and the fact you can open the power tailgate while you driving below 10km/h

To be fair, the BYD M6 is essentially built on the same platform as the BYD taxis that have been on the streets of Shenzhen for almost 10 years. That explains why it's so dirt cheap. My Chinese friends in China would call it an outdated & discontinued model (BYD E6 2009; BYD SONG MAX 2017) that they wouldn’t want. It's primarily used as a taxi these days.

It is an upgraded e6 with e-platform 3.0 and part bins from Atto 3 and Dolphin. Essentially a facelift of e6 with new BYD family design language.
Why no full digital driver display? Even Ativa has it.
