It should be whatever the couples dynamic is. Some couples the woman does the lawn care and the guy cooks more. As long as it’s fair and they agree who cares.
I feel like everything is a shared responsibility but I feel that a real man is going to take the initiative and do certain things like trash or yard work. But I don't have a problem doing it myself.
Gender roles come out of household demands that needed to be met during the rise of capitalism. Men went out and work and women stayed home with the kids. Those social roles don’t necessarily have to apply. A healthy relationship is where responsibilities are shared, but I don’t think they’re gender specific. People should do what they’re best at. Every relationship and person has their strengths and needs, and that’s where communication becomes essential.
I feel like men should do the yard work such as cutting the grass, shoveling the snow, taking out the trash and things that need to be fixed around the house, and the woman should cook and clean and do the laundry. Lol I work with some women that husbands does everything and they have the nerve to complain about taking care of the children and I say to myself like damn really lol you have one ☝️ job and you still don’t want to do it. I feel as though if you live in a complex where the dumpster is far away from your home, a man should take it out, for instance an apartment. But if your trash can is in your backyard, it can be 50/50
My hus can't cook better than me but he wash and dry so l take over cus it's a certain kind of way l like everything he set in his way and am set in my way.
Well for me I do all the cleaning. Make sure the kids okay and I cook and sometimes I get out and do your hair with my husband but my husband he loves cooking and getting out in his yard but he does not take out the trash
And I'm good with that and anytime he wants to make love unavailable for him. Even if I'm not in the mood, I make myself get in the mood and we love each other

I feel like women should essentially be housewives, cook, clean (laundry included) & take care of the children, I feel like a man should focus more on the yard work , maintenance of the home, keep the bills paid & work. I’ll say this I go up in a two parent household and both my parents equally did things that will be days that my dad would cook and do laundry and vice verse my mom. They split things equally. Now with that being said, my mom didn’t take out trash. My mom didn’t mow the lawn. As a woman my dad taught me how to do those things so I didn’t have to depend on a man for it. I know how to do simple plumbing I know how to do simple drywall fix, paint and I know how to change tires on a car. I teach my 4 sons how to cook, how to clean, and how to do laundry. because at the end the day you can’t take care of nobody else if you don’t know how to take care of yourself and plus you need to know what your significant other goes through because everything counts in a relationship. It’s called letting your significant other know that you appreciate them and you know the hard work and dedication they put into what they did whatever it was To build your team.
