Loathe public speaking, made me realize as a TA I had no desire to be a professor, then I realized people aren’t really paying attention or they’re thinking about their own lives so it takes off some of the pressure. And with fear of heights I always say it’s fear of falling. So trust yourself you won’t fall. And the other side of it is if it’s not for getting up high and climbing a mountain, enjoying a hike you won’t get to the marvelous view. 🧐🤓 I read on Instagram or something someone said: don’t set yourself on fire to keep other people warm.
Brilliant! While editing my novella 😬I should try to get published a lot of it is about toxicity and realizing I will not be your sacrifice and if you treat my truth like an inconvenience you aren’t worthy of being in my life. And it’s layers-it’s also about self respect. But it took being 32 realizing I’m happier than I’ve ever been in my life and being introspective and also grateful is important.
