cool
Georgina and stingray were the best parts of the Indy car comedy review
Georgina was the highlight of the entire fucking season 😂
Time to invite sting ray to your channel
4:26 bro thinks he’s Darrel Waltrip
He did the invocation at the nascar xfinity race years ago at nashville and did this
@@rick6083 fascinating
@@rick6083 Didn't he also thank the Lord for his smoking hot wife?
@@rick6083 Wow, that was Joe Nelms, more than 12 years ago (Jan 2012).
He almost did freddy mercury's EEEEEEEEO
That bit of the invocation - though you probably already know - is a reference of how local (ish, it's complicated) hero Darrell Waltrip would start NASCAR race calls.
Having been to quite a few races and heard quite a few invocations, points on for getting someone with some character for once.
I was there! It was fun. David Land said nice things unbidden about my car while I was parking this morning. Pretty good but not Milwaukee good.
Thanks for the explanation, because it had confused tf out of me!
Glad you enjoyed yourself there. What car do you have that it stands out? I'm intrigued!
@@y_fam_goeglyd It's nothing too special. A Buick Regal TourX wagon. For those overseas that'd be an Insignia B somethingTourer or a... whatever the last generation of Commodore was called. Whoever drove them there had a Regal hatch and the discussion was 'see, should've gotten the wagon'.
@@warphammer I didn't even know that car existed before yesterday, but I saw a Regular Car Reviews video on it yesterday and today see it referenced again. Why didnt they advertise the spicy wagon at all in the US if they were going to try to sell it here?
@@extragoogleaccount6061 GM sold off Opel shortly after the "Regal" was introduced in the US. Much like with the Holden Commodore/Chevrolet SS, they brought over the agreed upon numbers and killed it.
Buggity , buggity, buggity , lets goo racing BOYZ- darrell waltrip
When you walk in wrong booth😂
But continue as nothing is wrong
Boogity
put some respect on "the death bump"'s name. that's lucinda
Your ex? 🤣
The IndyCar break is going to be so long, i'd watch retro indycar comedy reviews
4:29 because the American South and NASCAR. More specifically the opening lap catchphrase of Darrel Waltrip, formerly of NASCAR on Fox.
I used to hate the idea of oval races but this was 600% better than Baku.
It's easy to think that ovals are just 4 lefts until you realize you're over 200 mph, at the edge of traction, and have to deal with your race and lap traffic. Hopefully in the next few years we can get more ovals over 1.5 miles back on the schedule so we can get close to Indy 500 speeds outside of May.
Scotty Macs twitter was really funny knowing the points situation.
Also this dropped faster than Seigel finding a way to crash the weekend.
Objectively, still an amazing race. IndyCar on ovals might be the best racing product on the planet
It is awesome, except for Iowa but they'll fix it next year.
If you like oval racing, check out USAC Silver Crown and sprint cars.
Always good racing.
i got up at 4:30 am on a Monday in the hopes of watching a fellow Aussie fight for the title only to watch Will Power forget to do up his fucking seat belt
He would’ve lost anyways he bottled the title in the last race spinning off by himself. Finished driver
Getting up at 430 on a Monday morning is the correct level of fan support and dedication.
@@v10mclaren what can I say I love indycar
Power's seatbelt reminding everyone that IT IS the last race of the season
Just a shame IndyCar is such a short year. F1 has been surprisingly good, but most years IndyCar is where it's at.
Its unbelievable that this Championship decider was decided by a belt
And the Race was decided by Sting Ray - sort of.
Huge thanks for this lovely series. I really enjoy the Comedy Reviews!
Ehh I was there in person. Herta was absolutely cooking and still would’ve gotten Pato without the Sting Ray intervention
Georgina needs to be added to the intro for next season
Will, you have single-handedly made me watching Indycar. You should get royalties from them!
The indycar season is already over??
It’s getting to the end of the year :( Motorsports are coming to an end for the year, at least football is back tho
yep, ends in september
Yep, they got the season way shortened down these days. Hopefully soon it'll be back to how it was finishing in October.
@@laurenmp7486 You may not want to look at the new schedule then...
Think of it like condensate milk. Lots of what is kind of milk, tasty but only lasts 6 months.
Thanks for the fantastic Indycar season!
Thanks so much!!
The way I never heard of IndyCar before I found the Comedy Review. This is what good marketing and entertainment is, so glad they never tried to change the comedy review here like a certain.. well, FOM can go screw off with their bs
Thanks for another great season Will! And nice to see Indycar delivered again. And I can't believe I actually feel bad for Will Power...don't worry I'll get over it.
Great video man. In the off season you could do rewind comedy reviews like you do in F1. Would highly recommend the 2012 Indy 500 and the 2020 st Pete finale.
Don't forget 2015 Fontana and 16 Texas. 2 of the best oval races in history.
And again, going to shout out the 93 Milwaukee and New Hampshire races, pick your own race from 95, they were all good,96, anything that isn't Toronto, 97, anything, it was a great season. Portland not just because Blundell won, but because it was an awesome race overall and both Eurosport and ESPN versions are on YT 1998, anything really, Michigan (minus Fernandez's wheel killing spectators), 1999, anything bar Fontana, even though the on track racing was good, it was as a weekend marred by the death of Greg Moore, so anything leading up to Fontana. My pick would be Detroit for sheer craziness, or for an F1 esque race from that year, Elkart Lake, Road America. That shot of the cars at the start lined up on pit road wit Paul Page walking past them is iconic. 2000 Michigan, 2000 Cleveland or 2000 California, buuuut, red flag for rain, though we got Gary Gerould being a weatherman, though at Fontana.
2001 Texas for the ultimate shitpost in the series, 2002 Surfers close behind for the second shitpost from CART in as many years, or the 2002 Rockingham round.
2003, is already covered, County Line Films did that already
2004 to 2007 was pure SeaBass domination.e
Not so much comedy reviews, as races I always tell people to watch if they want to know why 90s CART was amazing, but also happen to be good candidates for a comedy review
@frisco557 also really good races
Since indycar is going to fox wonder if will will decide to do nascar in comedy review’s probably not because of all the big ones that happen that usually result in red flags god that meme has traumatized him that as much as me having ptsd from my dog but still you get the point
probably too much work given Nascar has a race every weekend through most of the year.
@@Lianpe98 It's not like F1 isnt practically every weekend now anyways
Poor guy would have to cover 3 races some Sundays.
Red flag meme with duelling banjos playing instead of that high pitched nonsense
I knew the power dirty joke was coming
Ngl Will, You have provided much to the culture of indycar. I probably wouldn't be following indycar as much if it wasn't for your videos. Sucks about the FOM stuff tho
A real racing series would have looked at that patch and said, "Either you fix that shxx or we all go home." Death bump...indeed.
I guess Scotty Mac tampered with the wrong car before the race 🤣
Let's go Pietro!
Nashville oval turn 4 bump > entire street course, and at 5:05 Power needed to relief some of the championship pressure
This was a good season filled with twists and turns lots of turns FP1 Will just makes INDYCAR even better can’t wait for more Chaos and comedy next year.
Lets gat this comment to 100 likes because why not and make sure to comment “SEATBELT”
Get I meant get
it's my only input for indycar and will almost makes it interesting enough to watch
Well if Sting Ray really is jobless, we can always just replace Georgina with him at Barber.
Dr. Rob would be a great show
Track Maintenance guy: Hey Boss we need to fix that bump before Indycar gets here.......Boss: Naw, just paint it white so everyone can see it.
I LOVE that "Stingray" theme song....LOL!!
FUN season Will, thanks for the Indycar laughs.
Add Georgina to the intro next year :D
You need Sting Ray to do a guest F1 Comedy Review with you.
8:39 that was funny AF.😂😂😂😂
This series got me into Indycar, love it so thank you!
If I ever start a micro brewery I’m going to enlist the services of Penske’s bottling co. They can bottle it within 10 minutes of a green flag.
4:25 THAT good sir would be Darrell Waltrip, a man of culture.
that stingray song gets me every time.
He thinks he's really a superhero with a superpower of crash into things like a crash test dummy that he is.
Sting Ray deserves a seat if only for his last genius move to help for the win. They owe him that.
Tbh, ever since he became this channel's mascot, it seems that he's been a bit more cautious - compared to throwing cautions. Or is that just my imagination? If it's true that he's improved, then he definitely needs another year. I mean, if they put Logan Sargent in, who Colapinto has just thoroughly shown up... 🤷🏻♀️ (4 times Sargent's points over 18 months, in just 2 races. Yes, he benefitted from the crash, but LS benefitted from 2 drivers being DQ'd to get his single point.)
I knew it was over for Will Power as soon as I saw Flava Flav at the track. The curse is real.
Dale Earnhardt wouldn’t have stopped to buckle up
Dale Earnhardt never pulled 4G's in a corner either.
1:30 diabolical
Joe Nelms' invocation was just classic America moment and the best thing is that this wasn't his first time either. Seems like he did a similar invocation in NASCAR Nashville race some years ago
4:25
"Boogity Boogity Boogity Let's go racing boys" was the NASCAR version of "Lights out and away we go" for years. That guy was calling back to that even though it's the wrong motorsport
Darrell Waltrip, the guy who came up with the saying, lives in Nashville and is a big supporter of racing events in the area.
Interesting fact: Scott McLaughlin would’ve won the championship via tiebreaker against Alex Palou, had McLaughlin and Newgarden not have been DQ’ed at St. Pete
Same would be true if McLaughlin and Power don't collide in either race (Laguna Seca, Toronto) and just held their positions instead
Thanks for another year of Indy reviews Will. An interesting season, with every winner taking multiple races, which is the first time I can recall this happening. Scott Dixon continued his streak of consecutive seasons with at least one win and Will Power was back. Some controversy, a couple of spectacular crashes and Georgina the Mannequin committing suicide at Alabama. And while it may seem that Stingray Robb's days in Indy are over, I hope that other good Christian folk in the States have named their children after Gerry and Silvia Anderson TV shows starring marionettes so that some day soon, we'll be rooting for Thunderbirds Wallace, Captain Scarlett Smith and maybe, just maybe Space 1999 Jones. Cheers!
Thank you for covering IndyCar this season. As someone new to racing these videos unironically helped me a ton to figure what the fuck was going on and what a Sting Ray is
Loved the series. Much appreciated the hilarious insights and lighthearted attitude
Stingray Rob will be missed if he arent able to get a seat for next year
How on earth can they race with that dangerous bump, especially on a high speed oval?! Only in America 🙄
It's a 100% concrete track with no asphalt. No matter what you do, there's going to be a bump. Set up your car accordingly.
RIP Sting Ray's Indycar career, I'm genuinely gonna miss him
There's always Sale Coyne. He'll put anyone with money into one of his cars.
I was definitely thinking of you when the stinger got in the way late in the race
Can’t believe you didn’t have the clip of Herta saying “Praise the Lord” to Robb leading at Indy when he used him to get Oward
Last of the Summer Racing with Kirkwood, Legge, and Robbie.
(You may have to be British to understand this one.)
the nickname armstrong gave the death bump was lucinda. because people kept getting loose into turn 4.
Penske messed with the wrong cars seatbelt
Outstanding video. I cant wait for the next season. Well done, man.
Really have enjoyed your reviews this year! Can’t wait till next year!
Nice vid! Sting Ray shall come back some day!
New sculpture of Queen and Prince Phillip shows why in the era of DEI we can no longer have nice things.
Well… *FUCK.* See you in 2034 when Palou will retire after winning 7 more championships, including 5 inna row.
Just wait until he gets good at ovals.
"Hitting" refers to the rev limiter of the top gear.
#Wewantstingraynextseason
Don't you dare shittalk the invocation Will.
We need a 10 hour edit of stingray. See you in 2025!
two vids in a day makes this day better
The beginning of the video 😂
Absolutely awesome Comedy Reviews all season. Thank you very much!
If you can do an IMSA or WEC comedy reviews
I don't watch indycar, but I watch these and the addition of Stingray to stingray Rob always cracks me up 😂
Also 🖕 FOM.
Indycar no more invocations 🙏🏼
Sting Ray was pivotal to the move Herta laid down on Pato for the win
I was afraid he'd wipe out making that pass.
Thank you for an awesome season. Great work. I appreciate you.
My pleasure!
4:30, boogity boogity boogity is something former NASCAR driver and commentator would say at the start of NASCAR races. Not sure why you would say that at an Indy race.
I miss Indy already
I attended this race! Also really sucks that stingray is out of a seat :(
Thanks ever so much for another great year of your IndyCar Comedy Reviews, Will. I very much enjoyed each and every one of them! Too short of a season in my opinion though... Thanks again, and all my best to you and yours!!!
Alright now just do a comedy review for the NASCAR playoffs. Its already hilarious that we have playoffs in the first place so the jokes should be easy.
Myyyy precious Corgis 😂 👑
This one got a 'several' on the Cackle Meter
Who approved that death bump?!?!
C’mon, we need the comedy review for Formula E in 2025
I wonder who will be the Meme Racer next season
Looking forward to 2025 Comedy Review. This year seemed just a tic down. Probably due to the absence of Benjamin Peterson.
You think the invocation was good, Nashville nationwide 2011 same guy but better
Absolute belter
There’s an IMSA season that could use some reviewing.
Nicely done, Will. Thank you!
Superb season FP1will 💪
0:02 sh*t indeed
Bloody lap belt costing us a title race to the end.
and if anyone complain about the death bump named Lucinda(as said in the comments :D :D :D )
next year the race will have jumps like Super Trucks...
I just hope that Fox dont be a loose seatbelt for these reviews
What? No Sting Ray Worm in the highlight reel?
You should do a comedy review of the Bathurst 1000 in October
Thanks for doing the Lord’s work!❤
Its amazing Indy can afford to run anymore as NO ONE watches this train wreck. No one in the stands.
Stands were full in Nashville.
