Nice reviews! The return to home(RTH) option has been a thing for quite some time. I remember that featured back in 2011/2012 on my DJI vision lol. Definitely not new technology. The flight path RTH is somewhat new though. One thing that still holds true is that you can't trust technology to be flawless. Just when you get comfortable the damn thing will fall out of the sky with an error, or run into a tree that it claims it will never hit lol. Always be in control or you'll find out the hard way.
Awesome video, Georges!!! It was nice to see almost all levels of DJI's drones.....from the Neo to the Inspire. I started with the Mini 2 but went the other direction with FPV.....and absolutely love it. Keep up the great work!!!
Great info, had been wondering about an inexpensive drone. Kinda disabled, can't enjoy my outdoor activities, lol! Thought one might be fun, considering all. BTW, loved the shots of the "pond", tho I'm 150 miles NE, lol. Bit different shoreline. Thanx!

Drones are fun! I have a Mini without any of the obstacle avoidance or auto follow. Good times just flying around. Neat perspective for photos on camp trips etc.

I am a 72 years young photographer of 37 years and have been thinking seriously about getting a DJI drone to capture photos from above and would love to hear your recommendations, given my background or lack thereof. I am a Landscape and Historical Building photographer using the Nikon D850. I have never flown a drone, so add that to the equation. Thank you for your hard work making the video and taking us along. I enjoyed it greatly. I am from upper Michigan originally and enjoyed the views of Lake Michigan. John here, photographing the beauty of the back-roads of Northeastern Tennessee.

The 3DR had flown more than any of them and never had a problem for me. Using the GoPro camera worked, but the ones with their on cameras are much more compact and convenient. All the regulations and threat of fines has soured me on even wanting to fly. Thanks for the video it has me interested in trying again.

The Mini 3 doesn’t have obstacle avoidance. I’ve had two other DJI drones and they had OA so I assumed the Mini 3 did too. OA was not mentioned in the product description. I crashed it four times the first time I flew it and after five years flying other drones I’ve never crashed. Great review, thanks
I invented the clam gun drone, goes out and gets your limit while you sit in the heated cab of your truck. Having a problem getting the drone cleaning the clams
So I need to practice drone avoidance with tracking systems, carry a net launcher, and I have wondered what intense light sources will do to cameras in these things.. Follow path is for film making stuff. Question for me, does the West shore of Lake Michigan get any lake effect snow? 👽🗿👽🗿👽

Dang! Time to dust off my ancient DJI Spark that I mothballed due to a take-off problem, where it refuses to lift-off, instead bounces up and down across the the floor like a confused idiot. Seems there might be a fix for that now :-)
I'd like to see someone fly a course by proxy. One soul wearing the googles and the other drive blindfolded. Let a buddy give directions, then a wife then... the mother-in-law. That should be a misadventure.
That's hilarious I have that A3 drone and it's broken from running into something and falling to earth. Pretty much unless you're out in the middle of nothing be very very careful
I don't own fakes, but I can certainly understand why people would buy fakes, especially now that prices are rising and there are more and more quality issues with authentic bags. When my patience runs out, I will also go to kislux to shop what I like bag.

I would recommend the DJI mini 4k to start but in terms of photo quality the Air 3 is amazing and so is the Mavic 3 Pro.

You are correct the Mini 3 doesn't have Obstacle avoidance but the Mini 3 Pro did which got replaced by the mini 4 pro

The neo is very durable but you can hurt it if it hits hard enough to dislodge the gimble. I did that on the first day.

Ive got a mini 2 that used to limit everything as I live within a million miles of an airport and some schools or something.

I like all the drone videos that all the UA-camrs do but have no interest in owning one!
The obstacle avoidance does not work well with bare branches. Try again in full summer foliage.
