Him doing an accent like that is the best and worst thing I’ve ever heard in my life
The Hurricane Katrina aftermath a year on genuinely shocked Clarkson, he even wrote about it in his Times column. To him it was beyond comprehension that a country as rich and powerful as the US could leave one of its cities like that.
I'm not at all surprised. The US is a dieing empire on its last breath before collapse. Blatant corruption reigns supreme.

@@ja2688, and your public schools are private . . .
@@danieldravot341 No our public schools are publicly funded which is why they have that name. So they're funded by willing members of the UK public and you pay to send your children to those schools if you can afford. Whereas state schools are funded by the state and taxpayer money and taxpayers don't get a choice on if they fund them. It's really simple to understand if you're not thick or American or both.
@@ja2688 , you know, it's funny. I have lived in the UK, and worked in the UK, and it has always been one of my favourite places but then, upon occasion, I encounter a flaming arse-hole like you.
I am not sure why you choose to be an obnoxious piece of shit, but there you have it.
I know many of the foibles of your countrymen, and the flaws of your country, and I love the place, maybe in spite of the flaws and maybe because of them. Sadly, every now and then one encounters a big-mouthed pratt like you and the best thing to do is to just ignore you, which is why you are now muted.
Just as an FYI, though, in the rest of the world, outside the UK, when people are willing to pay fees above and beyond their tax requirements to send their children to a school, it is considered to be "private" because their children are receiving "private" educations. Only when a child can be enrolled for no fees or costs over and above their taxes is a school considered "public" or "open to the public".
When you say your public school are publicly funded, you actually mean they're funded by very few, very select members of the public, and not by the public at large. Admissions to these schools are equally selective.
In the Colonies, we call any school open free to the public a "public school" and it rather makes sense. These schools are underwritten by taxes, and not by subscription from wealthy or connected members of the private sector.
As an American I can say without question. The trio are absolutely hilarious and their jokes about America are absolutely hilarious.
Wouldn't be top gear without Jeremy being in the back of a police car

@@G_unit25 Well, Jezza did say the "I've got a great idea" quote in Caine's voice. He only did the Stallone imitation in that quote I mentioned in the original post.

he funniest part about the part at 5:20 (at least for me) is this is exactly what happened to me when I was about seven. Istuck my hand in the door jam to examine the shit in between, and without even looking at me my dad slammed the door, and continued trying to as I screamed to let my hand out. Thank God nothing actually happened.
Seeing Jeremy "rushing"around the corner in that white car reminded me of the video for song "Sabotage" by Beastie boys
