Honestly why I'm gonna buy a good one for hopefully little over 7k I'm in love with it but own 4 cars
You should be able to find a good one for way less than that!
@@NeverEndingProjectGarage there was one in Atlanta for $6000. I tried to talk him down, it has 135k on odo.looking at some other states I found one at $4200 same miles. What should one pay for a mr-s in decent shape?
Aparantly you should get the facelift cars not the first gen.
How much he paid for the car and make short what happen
Yeah I agree
Sounds like you bought a lemon. You make it sound like these things are pieces of crap. They are actually really reliable there is just one fault and that’s the pre cats breaking down and sending debris into the head and onto the engine screwing up the rings and causing massive oil burning like yours. If you find one in good shape it’s gonna last a long time. Glad you got it back together and running well though good job! Sounds great too
Mine wasn't a lemon, it had that exact issue. All the other things I replaced were either because of age and wear, or to improve performance.
