Great video, this made me realize that I want actually hitting the apex in each corner. Also made me realize that my brake pedal (thrustmaster TMX) is nearly impossible to NOT floor it lol (it basically feels like a second accelerator pedal). At the very least I was able to get my 1:33 down to a 1:31
Thx. That was very clear. I think my problem was I tend to lug the car around in a higher gear and rely on early braking which feels good sometimes, but I’m essentially overdriving the car. I got down to 1:34:008, but I definitely see a lot of time I can clip off.
man I don't get it. I'm taking lines IDENTICAL to yours with near identical pedal and steering input and I'm 4-5 seconds off pace. I simply don't have the grip you seem to
The higher speed you have, the more downforce you get. maybe you brake the same distance, but not as hard or something. I had the same problem on a different track, were the reasson was that i had lower corner speed, that gave me less grip, even tho i brake and throttle at the same places.
What are the chances you could use an inputs graph instead of the iRacing inputs bar graph? There's places you say you're trail braking but the iRacing bar graph doesn't even register. Nice guide just the same.
I do on my more current guides, at the time of making this one I didn’t even know it was possible but for the newer guides I use the Kapps input graph. Thanks for the feedback!
@@unknowndriver8664 That’s an amazing lap time with not changes in setup. Congrats. Watching your video, I managed to come down from 1m33 to 1m30 but I’m still very inconsistent. At least now I know what’s the fast line. Thank you.

Glad it helped! You have to be very precise with the braking in this car and it can be a real nightmare when it goes wrong lol.

What was you break bias? Did you change for each corner? Whether settings?
Nice video UD thank you for the info!
No problem!
This video is epic!!!
Thanks for the vid! :D
No problem! 😀
Thanks for the vid! Could you upload the blap for your videos so we can practice with your ghost?
Sure! I’ll add it for the next one
@@unknowndriver8664 thanks! Keep it up!!
Thanks for the video man 🎉 i have a question. Which monitor setup u use?
No problem! I use a single 60hz monitor
@@unknowndriver8664 what? How many inches is it man?
@@dinoordolani7910 27 inches, benq monitor. don’t know the exact model

Track conditions play significant role

Best I got rn is a 1:32, but my lines are dogwater and im drifting around those tough corners ripping the rubber off my tyres lol

What were the track and air temps ?
(Tbh do you think 1.30.4 and consistent 1.30.8 is good with 1h experience?)
That should be fine, it also depends what split you’re in but those times are good for only 1 hour of practice!
What was your brake bias setting?
I used 57.7%
