David Bromberg's wife's dad delivered me in 1963. He was my mom's OBGYN and he pulled me out via cesarean. And he donated blood to keep me alive because I was born with the wrong blood type. Back in June 1987 I caught up with David and his wife while they were playing a gig in Chicago. I told them the story and they were blown away. Great people, fun night. Smokin' band that night, too.
Will be there!! Missed show last Sept. b/c Hurricane Ian cancelled my flight. Am proudly going with my daughter. First saw David B. playing beside Jerry Jeff Walker at The Main Point-- 50+ years ago. Excited about this show.
Thank you Jonathan. Thank you David (and Nancy) for all the great times and great music. I'd love to be at The Beacon, but ironically will be in Wilmington. For anyone thinking of going, do it. David's current big band is a killer bunch of players. No doubt that this will be a memorable show.
I'd call David Bromberg an institution, but he's not ready for an institution. Got to see him at The Flynn in Burlington VT a year or so ago. Great show.
I love Bromberg. I saw him live a bunch of times long ago. But he seems to be off in this interview. Like he's really uncomfortable or nervous. I always remember him being really gregarious and seemed much more relaxed. I hope he's doing OK and maybe I'm wrong.

Met David once at the baggage area of the airport in San Diego. He was in his violin hiatus at the time. A wonderful, witty, sweet guy.
Met Mr. Bromberg in Amherst Massachusetts once, many years ago. David Bromberg is a class act!
That was an awesome interview, David is so amazing

I used to see him at Westbury music fair with Arlo Guthrie awesome ❤
I just love that guy
So unlike most promotional interviews, this one was fascinating and questions were thoughtful.
David's the man! Can't wait to see him at the show tomorrow! My favorite song he recorded is Electric Chair, pure magic.
Fantastic songwriter
Guitars aren’t made to be admired, but played. That’s when guitars are happiest
Love David

No disrespect intended but David has lost some of his edge in recent years. I’ve seen him so many times and loved every set.
"Where are the men that I used to sport with?"
♥️ that tune
Yes, A line that rips out my insides. How did you know?
Kaatskill Serenade.
The Hold Up, David Bromberg and George Harrison. This is a hold up. No way to mistake it. We're into violence so don't fool around.😃
Billy Strings ? Meh…..go to Nashville…..the kid working at the 7-11 can blow him off the stage…
Do you talk through your butt cheeks all the time or just on this occasion?
