Nah, the differences in person aren’t that drastic.
Unless you love Oversaturation, the OLED with (Vibrancy Off) just looks noticeably brighter and slightly more color accurate
If you have a perfectly fine V2 Switch, I wouldn’t bother upgrading just for the screen.

@@darku3012 He didn't buy all three consoles at the same time, dummy. He bought the original when it first came out, then the Lite a few years later because it offered compact mobile play, and now he bought the OLED model two years after that. Most folks do this to supplant their worn electronics. I purchased the original Xbox 360 and later the Model E just for the form factor and HDMI port. I bought each iteration of the 3DS because of the beneficial additions in each new model. Many people bought the PS3 model 2 because the original was notorious for malfunctioning. I upgraded to a Game Boy Pocket after getting the original Game Boy because of the size discrepancy. Then Game Boy Color came out and I bought that too. Each offers new features that are beneficial for enthusiasts and those with a large library of games.
Tony Dak could afford them all, so he just kept them. Other folks may prefer trading theirs in towards the purchase of the new model. The benefits are dependent on the needs and wants of each player. I play portably a lot, and I have an OLED TV, so I wanted a crisp, vivid experience playing mobile. Spending money for the same would be buying identical machines, like two original models or two Lite consoles; there are hardcore enthusiasts who do this when a special edition system releases. There are enough additions to warrant a purchase for the new model for many. You don't need to buy anything. If you want the OLED model, you can buy that. You don't have to buy the others first. You can buy whichever one you want or none of them. I don't know why you think 'I need buy 3 console that they are the same??? What??????'

Most of the switch library is a mix of indies and shovelware sure but the indies have good games that don't cost a fortune. There are games on the eshop that are the "definitive" versions which actually contain the dlc for the base price of the game where as on wii u or even pc that base price would be just the game not the dlc. Also that $60 today adjusted for inflation is less than it was back then when the game was new.. So for the same numbers but technically a little cheaper your getting more game.

It's pleasantly surprising that Nintendo was being modest about the OLED model having "identical" battery life to the V2. When I first read that, I questioned how that could be possible with the same chip, same battery, yet more energy-efficient screen. Then I found my answer: they were lying, lol.

I know there's Link Trade but Wonder Trade is the most important part of the games and makes it a lot easier, I don't know why they're not added to the games before released back in November but I'm guess that with Pokemon Legend Arceus release that they wanted wait a bit longer before it's finally updated but I'm hoping the waiting is worth it🤞. As for Pokemon Legends: Arceus I will planning to buy the game in the future after watching some UA-cam videos to get some ideas to what to expect in the game

I've seen the OLED in person next to the V2 and it really depends on what type of games you play. Games with more color look a little better on the OLED because it pops. But in my opinion it wasn't worth the $150 difference from the a lite that I have. Also I'd rather spend that extra $150 on actual games instead.

@@darkmistico 😅 It’s sort of a goofy thing. Those are the ideals for battery life, but no company makes that practical or easy to maintain. A lot of people keep the switch docked for long periods of time. If there was a simple way to let it know when you planned to leave, then it could keep it at 80% until 30 minutes before and top it off. For the most part the degradation within two years from fully charging often seems to bring you to about 80% max charge anyway. I think the best thing to do is just try not to go below the 10-20% threshold (or whatever google says) too often. It’s sort of silly though, because if you are always charging to 80% and stopping playing at 10-20% then it’s as if you are acting like the battery was worn out to begin with by only using 60-70% from the start…So just know that it adds wear, maybe take it off the dock when not playing or leaving the house for a while, and top it off to 100% before you leave, as much as you want at that point.
