Really nice dog work I a setter man myself they really do well on ground like that with a good wind to sent the birds
Amazing footage - thanks for sharing! I saw that covey on instagram too! Love hunting in that area- will be back in a week and a half!
Woow Great hunting sir...
Awesome video! Beautiful dog work as well. Love that! We were out there in ND the week you filmed this intro, and we had a blast with the sharpies largely due to what we learned on those onX videos you guys did. Really appreciate you sharing your knowledge of the game. Oh, everyone at camp had Boss ammo and LOVED it. I had my the Dakota 283 kennels as well as wear my PYKE gear (great stuff). We all carried CZ shotguns in 28ga & 16ga too. So your sponsors were well represented LOL! Thanks again!
How do you know when you've found a nice covey of Huns,....when they are still flushing and you have time to reload for a triple!!
That’s a solid way to judge lol
Good stuff! Love hearing those huns flush.
They are cool aren’t they!
Great video Tyler, I love the intro and of course the dog work!
Thanks buddy!!!!
Great stuff! I have thoroughly enjoyed your journey starting in August on The Flush podcast and on Insta since. This is your best video yet I think...... I'm headed to MT (from AL) in 3 weeks. I Can't wait to get in those birds!
Thank you very much!!!! Trying to get better
The new video content is awesome!
Thank you!
Don't recall seeing BO one time? What the heck...
Yeah…. The rotation worked out where he got hunted the day before and the day after these hunts lol. Don’t worry! He fine and I ran him yesterday and he still looks good on camera. You will see lots of him on the next video
You guys seen any Prairie Chicken yet?
The don’t live this far north
@@birdsboozeandbudspodcast530 Well they do, in fact, they live further north into Canada, north of North Dakota, but the season is closed for them in North Dakota right now.
There is one small area they tried re-introducing them on far south east North Dakota in the sheyenne grasslands several years ago. But they aren’t doing well. Other than that area we haven’t had a season in ND in my lifetime.
@@birdsboozeandbudspodcast530 You can find them in several tracts around Grand Forks area as well with the population doing well in that area! :) There are also some near the north west corner of N. Dakota on the Canada side.
I’ve been hunting the north west part of North Dakota my whole life and never seen one…. But I’ll take your word for it man
Do you have much experience with griffons? I've been looking into them as a first bird dog, but there's not many around here to go check out.
I have some….. not my style of dog. Not typically going to cover enough ground me. All depends on what you typically hunt and what style you like though
@@birdsboozeandbudspodcast530 I'll almost exclusively hunt quail here in kentucky and Tennessee. Mostly fencerow hunting so a close working dog would suit me just fine.
When it comes to eating, which do you prefer Huns or Sharpies?
Huns are my absolute favorite game bird to eat
What chokes are you running in the 410?
Modified and full with Boss 6s
Can you say force fetch lol
Not a fan of force fetching. Not important to me
@7:43
Almost got the dog 😬
I assure you I didn’t…. GoPro angles are a bit deceptive
I am here because I see SxS and S.Dakota
Not South Dakota:)
