Thanks for the vid! Mine turned out long and loose. I guess I didn't get my knots so tight. I stuck a ball of string at the bottom (which is handy to have) and I ran more shock cord around the top to make it tighter.
That's really cool! For the past year I have been going through variations of a design I made using the conquistador weave, but it's a working progress.
Hi, i like very much the ideeas you do. Are awesome! Great job and interesting designs! I would like to ask your advice, please, if possible.. I want to make a cover for gearshift lever in my car. Don't want to put a leather one, it's too classic and borring.. want something different.. and thinking of a paracord weave one.. something like Conquistador.. i like the pattern look.. or same style as the multitool pouch you did in this video.. but don't know how to make it that at the end to look as a pyramid, as the bottom is wider than the top.. how to make the angle cord by cord.. also to not be rigid, as to shift the gears smoothly, soft.. would be very thankfull if you could guide me or drop an ideea.. thank you and keep creating beutiful things. Best regards from Republic of Moldova
On the elastic, once you reach the top, if you zig zag back down through the open knots, you'd have both stopper knots hidden in the bottom of the pouch. Just a thought. Good video, though.
@@coltenLyo it’s been a very long time since I made one of these…. I honestly do not remember how I didn’t… I believe I filed the cords up and pulled them inside the bottom of the pouch and snipped and singed the. On the inside so that they would not be on the outside,,,
Yes.... but it will be at least twice as wide! That leatherman tool took 10 knots across to have enough to fold it around the tool... a cell phone is in most cases twice as wide as that tool... I would make the 10 knots, sit my phone down on it and see if it’s wide enough to cover one side... adjust for the length of the phone as well... if the 10 knots fully cover the one side of your phone, with a knot or two left over to leave room for the sides of your phone, then make another row of 10 knots then you could sew the sides together like he did when wrapping the 10 knots.... I think this would be an extremely thick case for a phone though....
@@MasterYoist same here! Better than paying $50 for it! And mine is bigger too... I can make up to 2 feet of weave on my jig with buckles or longer if only attaching the top part of the weave.... comes in handy for making belts and dog collars!

Great video man. I usually don't really listen to tutorial videos but I have a volume on for yours. You're like a Bob Ross of paracord
Perfect. My multitool is also a Leatherman Wave, so I can follow this exactly.
Awesome! Hope it all works out, if you have any issues , don't hesitate to leave me another comment here!
@@TheWeaversofEternity Thank you very much, I'm enjoying your channel!!
Thank you!! I just made one all black. Not as clean as yours but it’s done! I used 8 instead of 10 as I’m using for a balisong.
Great video, as always! Nice clean design. We love the inclusion of the shock cord.

Can you make a tutorial video about how to make a paracord hip bag? With lots of pockets having zipper?
Looks like it would be great for a cell phone or an insulin pump
How wide I must measure at first arranging the knots on cord for making pouch for my 📱? I mean in general size fit for all kind of 📱 brands.
Where did you get the wooden tool
I would so buy one of those.
Where do you buy the beads you use in your bracelets?
Can you make this one for opinel 8

That is exactly what I thought too... and I think I hav come up with a way to close the bottom without all those burned off square knots...
If you leave it at the top you might work it out so that you can adjust the tightness of the pouch!
@@ZippedUpKitz how?

I know this is stupid but I’d like to see a shirt made from paracord
Don't confuse paracord with corduroy. ;-)
Stupid? Sure, but you have to admit; making it would definitely be a bragging right.

@@ZippedUpKitz tanks for the tips.
I’ve learn very much with all your videos.
Great work!
Cumps.
How much paracord length did you use?

Nice but I don't get what's the point in having ten 40cm paracord ropes with you if you actually need paracord in..let's say survival situation.
Hi there! Where did you get your custom jig?
Thank you
