To be honest the first 10 seconds still had me thinking it was live action until I finally paid attention to the door.

It sorta acts like a type of Mimic, like DnD Mimic, that can grow to the size of an entire room and disguse itself as such.
I thought it was schizophrenia until I saw something in the wrong corner and I thought it was something about him looking at it
Woah! This is amazing, and really subverted my expectations, and it scared me real good too. No jumpscares, no unnecicary distorted faces, just pure, unfiltered slow burning horror. Keep it up! I would love to see something like this again.
So real. I've been going down an SFM creepypasta rabbit hole for like 2 and a half hours and this is the first one that's made me hide in the comment section a little bit

I see, whatever that thing was, is dragging things into the wall, that's why he was worried it would take his stuff. In the end he gets fully sucked in and then seemingly spit out as a corpse possibly? (I brightened the final frame and it just looks like him but darker? maybe blood on him???Best and simple guess is that he was killed by whatever was in there and was spit out)
I thought this was live-action until I saw the hand and phone. God damn, this was really good.

even though this was different type of storytelling compared to your usual animations, it's still so well made, the quality and animation is amazing
So I thought he randomly teleported into the wall at first, but I put the Playback speed to 2x and I watched as he slowly, very slowly his body slid across the floor into the wall.
I kept dreading the jumpscare
When it didnt happen I started hoping for a jumpscare
I can handle being startled but I cannot handle the tension
Just started watching and I already know it about to be bomb because surkee shit is TOP TIER no question.

this is honestly terrifying, getting the sudden urge to stand and wait in a corner for something to happen, being in a sort of trance to pay attention to the corner then suddenly realizing you are inside the wall choking on the concrete

About 20-ish years ago, when I was like 14-15 I woke up and I couldn't move my body. The only thing i could move was my eyes. At the top of the corner opposite to my bed there was thing black thing. I couldn't see it's form but it spoke to me. It said "You will die". I started struggling, trying to move my body, and trying to yell. After i have no idea how long, could've been seconds or minutes. I was able to start moving my fingers. After being able to move i couldn't see it anymore. I stayed awake until the next day. This memory is a little vague now, but i believe this happened 3 consecutive nights in a row. I still don't know what that was. As you can see i'm still alive, and the thing never said i will die soon or something. This video is eerily similar to my experience.

I… don’t understand what happend? Dude just stands by the wall all day, suddenly teleports into it, and dies? Why would he want to prove the monster exists by letting it kill him? Why doesn’t he just charge his phone? How is what happend better than just leaving the building? The whole video just seems random, but not scary.
well, I think the monster is not in the corner, it's IN the corner as in INSIDE the walls.
Actually, if you put the Playback speed faster, you can see that he’s slowly sliding into the wall.
My only major complaint is about the clothing clipping through his hand. Other than that this was really good.

Genuinely shocked at how excellent this is. I feel like many SFM horror content pieces get a bad rap because the content they're adapting isn't particularly stellar, but as a self proclaimed horror buff this is genuinely incredibly well framed, written, and executed. Please keep doing stuff like this.

The monster is a spatial anomaly.
From what the guy gathers, the monster is just now arrived and he tested his powers, which is limited by the enclosed they are in. If he opens the door, either he gonna make the monster escapes or more powerful for the lack of enclosed spaces being outdoors.
All he knows that the monster is here to GET HIM.
Both to prove a point and martyrdom, he sacrificed himself so the monster both are trapped and satiated while being recorded for proof.
You can hear some cars going outside but none of them noticed his corpse in the other side, like it was caught in a pocket dimension.
He talks like hes hiding because he cannot deal or stop or comprehend the monster. He only knows that if he's lucky enpugh to escape from it once, perhaps it would work a second time. But none of us predict he will be put in stasis until his demise.
The fact the monster first tried in the guy's sleep and 2nd one tranquilizes him wide awake to end him means this is an intelligent monster. That adds the layer of fear.

Is that ray-tracing? Can you do that in SFM? It looks great!
Source engine doesn't support ray tracing, it can only bake light maps into the environment. not to mention this is decade old software. Truly the result of someone mastering their tools.

@@harmless_p0tato821 I've been working with 3D software for 8 years now, and I always find it so adorable when people look at something like this for instance and say how good the lighting is and so on. Of course it is still very impressive. But it's really not that insanely difficult. you just need to put time into your software.
