@@showalk What are you talking about? The original post literally warned about the threat of entities, making them sound as alien and hostile as possible.
@@korthalas7776 The post said "God save you if you hear something wandering around nearby, because it sure as hell has heard you." It's the possibility of there being something that's more frightening. When you start naming visible creatures like they're SCPs and numbering "levels" it completely destroys any mystery. Horror comes more from the unknown than the known. Seeing, naming, and labeling everything has the opposite effect. And really, this stupid "Smiler" thing looks like it was made by a 12 year old who saw that edited picture of a husky from years ago (Smile Dog) and thought it was the most terrifying thing to ever exist.
@@showalk "Horror comes more from the unknown than the known." This is often true... up to a point. You can only tug at the strings of mystery for so long. If there isn't eventually something that actually happens, the fear gradually relaxes itself. Now, I do have to _partially_ agree that the Backrooms wiki often overdescribes things, which is exactly why I agree with the comment that triggered these replies; the "lore" that a bunch of people arbitrarily assigned doesn't matter. Only the liminal, eldritch feel of the Backrooms matters. But if you just keep _eluding_ to the presence of a threat without ever making good on that promise, there will be little fear. As for the Smiler, the design is actually quite intelligent, given the context. It plays off of our instinctual fears very well. Given that we can't see well in the dark, and the things that have always wanted to eat us do, we are innately frightened by the prospect of a creature skulking in the shadows, its eyes glowing due to the reflected light. Smilers take that to the absolute extreme by being creatures with bodies that absorb most of the light, making them quite literally cloaked in shadow, while having bioluminescent facial features. Combining this with a hatred of light, and you have a materialized fear of the dark. There is nothing "stupid" or childish about Smilers; they are creatures that could theoretically exist given our knowledge of biology, and their features are designed to scare the shit out of their prey.
@@korthalas7776 Obviously the Smiler would be terrifying IRL, but to me it's just a PNG of a silly face. If any creature is going to be made, it should fit the atmosphere a little better. One such "entity" was the Guardian of the "Playrooms" (Escape the Backrooms: Playrooms by GeoNosiS). It barely let itself be known, and was well-integrated as more of a manipulator of the backrooms than anything. (This is not to be confused with the knight-like Guardian which is possibly one of the stupidest Backroom things I've read about.) Which brings me to my next point - the backrooms as an "entity" in and of themselves is a much more interesting concept to me than a slew of creatures with lore and whatnot. Are the backrooms simply a metaphysical phenomenon? If the backrooms change due to this phenomenon, is there potential danger in these changes? Or are the backrooms created by some kind of organization? Unknown being? Are they being controlled? Are the backrooms themselves sentient? Are they or their controller(s) hostile? Are they aware of your presence? Is there anywhere safe from their awareness? Those questions, to me, are FAR more intriguing than "there's a glowy knight on level 8000 that doesn't do much to you and is friends with this other entity on another level for some reason oh and also there's a thing that sTeAls sKiN!!1!"
Amazing work. Wow, so many creative people have really taken this backrooms concept to amazing places. I think one of the scariest things for me is that some of these "monsters" feel so alien that you have no idea what kind of torture they have in store for you. I really love where you took this one.

@@Gigachad-xv2tt I know. Not just all the primary 9223372036854775807 levels, but sub-levels and negative levels. As well as one of these doors leading to one of the three possible ways out of the backrooms...
I love that this starts all normal with the character falling into The Hub and turns into a Smiler chasing the character with all the walls being destroyed because of a huge creature from before breaking in and then all leading up to the fall into that ball pit triggering the end of the video. Honestly this is perfect.
This was an amazing interpretation of the Backrooms lore; I genuinely like the chaos of what happened here. It addresses and references different parts of the backrooms, it took a "cool more than terrifying" approach (which I liked a lot), and you imagined how different facets of the Backrooms would interact with each other, which is so cool! The ending felt like something like a massive containment breach from SCP, and I think it's cool for that. Overall, well done! I like this!
This was really creative and well done! Particularly when the creature threw a piece of something and it broke a section of the wall which revealed a weird cartoon house on a landscape, and when the colorful spider sucked into the wall, creating a hole.
I also ove the fact that this level is like an endless void outside while no clipping but when you’re inside there’s suddenly levels everywhere. Reality’s shifting there. And also the fact that this could actually be the core of every level from the backrooms.
thank you for not using the ASync logo! i hate all of these people stealing from Kane’s work. it’s a great setting to tell your OWN story and i’m glad you’re doing that.
This rocked!!! I liked that it shows how an entity from one level can be a victim of another level. This video is the first of its kind I've seen. Great accomplishment!
This is good content Keep up the good work! The fact that you made it seem like it was like entry ways in other places and hoe the monster broke through them was incredible.
Without a doubt I think that of many videos of this style and theme, this is one of my favorites by far, it gives me the feeling again of a place without logic, where everything can happen where you don't know what to expect, a place where even the same backrooms are unpredictable and can even go crazy for the simple purpose of destroying your mind, great job, let's go back to unknown backrooms again!
This is the most coolest backrooms found footage i have ever seen of a level called "the hub", i honestly do not care about the accurate version when i saw this, it was like true matrix! Amazing work dude, i'd love to see more!
Other than the "hElLo" thing this was one of the best Backrooms video I've seen in a while, you got all in there: a chase scene, humor, surprise, ambiance(wich is done to perfection), a big "OH F_" moment and the best of it all, no "in your face" jumpscares. Loved it! 9.9/10!
Please make more, this is like the best found footage video ever. I really like how the character actually reacts to things, it makes it way more realistic and alive
Dude that was aweosme. What a clever way to show off several levels and entities as well This is the stuff I've been waiting for... As well as finally getting to see waht the MEG bases look like, and the bntg
Out of all of the people doing backrooms videos there's only a handful of standouts with that over the top realism. This is definitely one of them, good job man.
I love that this one connects so many worlds together and is so realistic! For example, I got a fright by the sound in 2:55 since normally people don't add the sound detail when they go up or down a ledge the voice acting is also great the screams and echoes were so good
this is the best backrooms videos i have ever seen it looks good the acting is good everything about this is amazing you deserve 100k subs keep up the awsome work :)
This is very very cool. I liked the opportunity to see a bunch of different levels in a realistic way. The graphics were great and the protag really did have realistic reactions. I also thought the detail of entities leaving one level and coming to others was a nice touch. The smiler was done in a very creepy way also.
Didn't know how to feel initially but once i got your tone i actually quite liked it lol. So far you're the only person i seen that doesn't take things so seriously and is just having fun with the idea of the backrooms. It works for you
I love how the guy is exploring than being a scaredy cat like me. And he also have a great reaction to it. When the level like 404 opened hes like "what the hell" its just kinda funny to me.
This was absolutely awesome. The quick "nope" at the first door opened, the editing and design... I also love the concept of entities being able to follow you back through an open door into the hub, rather than disappearing. It makes for an even more brutal and near-impossible Backrooms but that fits the Backrooms anyway, and I think I like the idea of a Backrooms that doubles down even more on the impossibility of any level actually being genuinely safe, or even close to it. Imagine the amount of carnage that just one or two open doors could lead to, given enough time. Maybe entities in the hub get "cleaned" out of it periodically instead of instantly, so it can't accidentally become a total deathtrap but you never know for sure if someone accidentally or even deliberately let hostile entities in. The whimsical, cold truth of infinity. Anyway regardless of possible alternate canons I loved this a lot. Easily one of the best of this type of Backrooms video, focuses more on the terror and broken physics than on deep lore, but still ties into known material too. The more canon there is for the Backrooms the less interesting I find it, so a really well-executed divergence from the (sometimes dubious) existing canon like this is perfect. It returns an element of foreignness that's always at risk of fading in the broader Backrooms canon, I guess, and you just did so damn well at literally every part of it, too
MAN this looks great! I especially loved the hub itself and level 1, they both looked so realistic! Well done with the voice acting too, it sounded really genuine! Good job!
bro, i absolutely love your style and the voice lines, normally people just have camera footage with just like a "hello is anyone there" and thats the rest of it but you went above and beyond with the sounds! :D

If someone wants a backstory of the hub, well here’s my best explanation: The Hub. A level that’s supposed to be peaceful. It is essentially the lobby of all levels. Every level can be accessed from this singular point. You just need to find a special key which is in every level, hidden very well. It’s a giant concrete tunnel just like in the video. There are frequent supplies, and humans go there all the time. There’s no entities there, and if there are, they’re always passive. (Canon) I think it was pretty cool to see the huge attack on the hub, since it wasn’t expected, really awesome!
your videos are sooo good, I usually love all the backrooms found footages but your work is so incredible, they're some of my fav tbh, keep up the good work, hope to see more of these! :D
Amazing work! That giant lovecraftian creature that just teleports off with those glitchy af color effects was so cool. Also the fall at the end. Very emerging backroom video. Keep it up! 👏
This is a perfect example of how there are different rooms and environments in the backrooms. The whole atmosphere can change based on going through one door.
This is one of the best one I've seen so far! The amount of time and effort that has gone into this definitely shows! I look forward to what you have to offer in the future! ♥️
-Franchement c'est vraiment trop stylé, mec, ta géré du début jusqu'à la fin. L'univers est impressionnant, le hub est très bien pensé. Je ne peux que te féliciter !
Wait the white glowing door I think that was one of those portals to the real world he should have gone through that door. Great job btw! I really liked this video with the different doors leading to different places
I like the idea of a highway that connects all the backrooms, probably would be something beyond improbable of ever finding, like a glitch within a glitch at end of infinity type odds of finding.I think just the backrooms connection highway could have to have its own fascinating lore ,maybe their is a creature/company making more levels, maybe the deeper you go down the more bizzare a glichier it gets maybe levels even start clipping into eachother.I like the idea of just hoping between levels and running back when it gets real,it allows you to see more in a non committal way and the story can always have tension as whatever floor you left the entity within it can follow you out.Good job

(This is not to be confused with the knight-like Guardian which is possibly one of the stupidest Backroom things I've read about.)
Which brings me to my next point - the backrooms as an "entity" in and of themselves is a much more interesting concept to me than a slew of creatures with lore and whatnot.

This is great, a lot of these backrooms videos have some flaws in the design but you are one of the few people to make one that’s exceptionally good. Great job!
Definitely cool seeing the hub level and a bunch of other spaces connected to it. Nice video.

@@BackroomsMerchant hi
definitely one of the best backrooms videos ive watched yet! love your take on the lore!
I love that this starts all normal with the character falling into The Hub and turns into a Smiler chasing the character with all the walls being destroyed because of a huge creature from before breaking in and then all leading up to the fall into that ball pit triggering the end of the video. Honestly this is perfect.
you literally just summarized the whole video into once sentence
r/youngpeopleyoutube type comment
Exacly i think that is like the level fun
y'know........... i watched the video, i didnt need someone to summarize it 💀
I feel like that ball pit might be somewhere in level Fun
This was an amazing interpretation of the Backrooms lore; I genuinely like the chaos of what happened here. It addresses and references different parts of the backrooms, it took a "cool more than terrifying" approach (which I liked a lot), and you imagined how different facets of the Backrooms would interact with each other, which is so cool! The ending felt like something like a massive containment breach from SCP, and I think it's cool for that.
Overall, well done! I like this!
1:24 "nope" same bro
The most variety I've ever seen in one single backrooms video. Absolutely incredible
That “Nope” sent me. 😂
Glad to see a Backrooms Explorer with some personality.
And also the fact that this could actually be the core of every level from the backrooms.
good concept but the hub is just a safe place where you can go many levels
nice
Absolutely insane animation and plot
thank you for not using the ASync logo! i hate all of these people stealing from Kane’s work. it’s a great setting to tell your OWN story and i’m glad you’re doing that.
I just love how well done this video was made, it’s so realistic and I love the part where the huge monster gets sucked into the glitch room!
The way he said no to level 0 which was probably the best option, and then walks into pipe dreams😂
Other than the "hElLo" thing this was one of the best Backrooms video I've seen in a while, you got all in there: a chase scene, humor, surprise, ambiance(wich is done to perfection), a big "OH F_" moment and the best of it all, no "in your face" jumpscares. Loved it! 9.9/10!
Well done! This is what I like to see! How the backrooms all fits together cohesively! So great. Not to mention these vfx are top notch!
definitely my best backrooms video ever, it’s probably the 4th time I see this video, and it’s still amaze me, pls continue bro!
Oh, boy. Finally high quality video with true unpredictable environment and camera - person move. Feels fxkn AMAZING! Thank you!
Out of all of the people doing backrooms videos there's only a handful of standouts with that over the top realism. This is definitely one of them, good job man.
I love that this one connects so many worlds together and is so realistic!
For example, I got a fright by the sound in 2:55 since normally people don't add the sound detail when they go up or down a ledge
the voice acting is also great the screams and echoes were so good
this is the best backrooms videos i have ever seen it looks good the acting is good everything about this is amazing you deserve 100k subs keep up the awsome work :)

This looks mad realistic you're probably one of the best backrooms found footage makers out there.
It works for you
This is amazing! I haven’t been glued to my screen for a Backrooms video in a long time. Amazing job!
I love how the guy is exploring than being a scaredy cat like me. And he also have a great reaction to it. When the level like 404 opened hes like "what the hell" its just kinda funny to me.
What a twist. I love it. Really beautiful peace right here. I love the choreography, the editing and your acting.
It returns an element of foreignness that's always at risk of fading in the broader Backrooms canon, I guess, and you just did so damn well at literally every part of it, too
This was INCREDIBLE! Loved seeing the different glimpses of different levels, and that entity was absolutely TERRIFYING! Great seeing the Smiler too!
My G we need you back, you're *easily* the best backrooms creator on this platform!
*unless you have things to take care of which you probably do then take care is all I can say, but still, for the sake of making sure that you *know* you're the best backrooms creator, I had to express myself that way.*
Wow this is absolute genius!!! Can’t wait for the next one!!!
This is amazing the effects and voices and soundeffects are amazing! How do you make it look so real, it's also so funny how the dude reacts!
I love how he opens that first door and just instantly goes "nope"
The glitch room is one of THE most hard places to get out of its nearly impossible (not like it is possible) everything’s made of glitch walls air floor
You die moments after entering because you can't comprehend it and it kills you
it's the lowest possible backrooms level, there aren't any walls or floor, it's just an endless void of glitches
@@worlds_worst_tf2_player ....at 3:45 thought thats what the Negative rooms is supposed to be. Like if there's Level 10 then it has a Negative -10 counterpart, just very glitchy.
really silly thing to point out but THANK YOU for making the camera point on the floor when he's running for his life I REFUSE to believe mfs run away from monsters and still remember to hold up the camera in perfect position
Yet another good backrooms content creator one of the best backrooms videos I've seen I'm subscribing.
(Canon)
I think it was pretty cool to see the huge attack on the hub, since it wasn’t expected, really awesome!
That "nope" got me more than it should have
your videos are sooo good, I usually love all the backrooms found footages but your work is so incredible, they're some of my fav tbh, keep up the good work, hope to see more of these! :D
Amazing work! That giant lovecraftian creature that just teleports off with those glitchy af color effects was so cool. Also the fall at the end. Very emerging backroom video. Keep it up! 👏
I hope you keep doing videos like this one, your very good :D
This is a perfect example of how there are different rooms and environments in the backrooms. The whole atmosphere can change based on going through one door.
This is one of the best one I've seen so far! The amount of time and effort that has gone into this definitely shows! I look forward to what you have to offer in the future! ♥️
-Franchement c'est vraiment trop stylé, mec, ta géré du début jusqu'à la fin. L'univers est impressionnant, le hub est très bien pensé. Je ne peux que te féliciter !
