What a lovely video thanks Jan 💕 I feel like we just had a nice long friendly chat. Love your personality and approach, and plants of course. I especially loved and related to your cat story. At 74 I have just started my indoor plant journey following the demise of much loved cat who wanted to eat every green thing I ever brought into the house. Even flowers in a vase got pulled out and destroyed. Like Brad, the cat that remains doesn't touch anything, so now my journey begins and you are my escort 😘

Hey Jan, Im thinking the abundance of damp moss poles has gotta be the answer to a humidity problem.
I have 5 moss poles in a growing area and dotted among themI have Calathia Orbifolias and Faciata Orbifolias and they are loving the humidity amongst the poles.
I didnt know about the Q&A, but it didnt matter, you answered all my questions anyway.
    many thx mate.

Great video thanks! Interesting comment about moss poles making up for arial roots dying in our lesser humidity - that's so true, in my propboxes they are crazy just in the ambient humidity!

    Dude, love the longer hair!
I've been into plants since 2nd grade. Your philosophy has changed my attitude and the way I see my plants. I now just want what to keep n grow - on moss poles, only what I love ❤️. I even made a spec sheet for the 'moss poles'! Thank you for all the videos you have made. You have changed my life and showed me how to attain what I've always dreamed of.

I have been a plant enphusiast for the past 20 years but it is safe to say you have propelled my love of philodendrons and the benefits of moss polls! Plants do have feelings and sentience, though different to ours, but most of the ones we eat don't need to die for us to eat - fruit, nuts, greens, etc - the plant lives on. Root veg are very short seasonal anyway, the plant wouldn't live much past when they are harvested. I actually think plants can be eaten with more compassion too, and as we have to eat something plants are definitely a more compassionate option!

She complains: whenever I cook the stew per your explanations and my friends’ explanations, it’s still not tasty. I think you all are not telling me something because I follow all the instructions. So I asked her to explain to me exactly how she cooks her stew from beginning to end. Eg. how much water do you put in the stew. When do you put the water in the stew and so on. I found out what she was doing wrong . Well, in order to grow fairly large plants, I also think you all are not telling us something because we follow all the large leaf parents and still do not get any result.

    • @sydneyplantguy

Easy to see where you went wrong: growing plants is NOT following a recipe. You need to put in the work and acquire the skill yourself :)
