I'm sorry about your wife, but I can relate to the hurt. I actually avoided this song for the last 8 years, because that's when my father died, when I was 16, of cancer too, and it just was too much. Figured after a third of my life I'm over it, but I'm still sobbing like a child. But this video puts it in a slightly different light, giving me a glimpse from the other side, so thank you for that.

Actually, I have written fiction my whole life- I am working on a fiction podcast as we speak, where I read my short fiction :) I just don't have a ton of TIME right now- and that sucks. I REALLY have a ton of ideas still. I used to have a RAGING fire in my belly bout my writing! Then I became an active alcoholic for 23 years... the fire is almost out, I just have embers in my belly, but it does still burn... :)
