    Favorite savage moment from Larry Bird outside the video? I like the Isiah one he did when he was the executive/president of the Pacers 😂😂

      Bird fired Isiah and hired hired his friend, Rick Carlisle. IT eventually went to the NY Knicks as executive and was involved with a sexual harassment law suit where the Knicks had to settle in the woman's favor for millions of $$$.
      But surprisingly, to this day, Isiah has nothing but great things to say about Bird.
      Great vid, bro. Bird has no equal. 😎💯

      that whole thing shocked me, considering how IT was raised. how he could ever look his mother in the eye I'll never know. always wondered if there was more to that story.

    Well, the one thing I liked about Larry Bird was his trash talking was lethal. He told you what he was gonna do and then he ended up doing it a moment later.

      25-7-3, 9x all star, 7x all nba, 30 pt average 85-86 led nba. Plus, he was a wild ride everytime I watched him in the 80s. My brother didnt care for sports and never usually watched anything with me, but, if bird, nique or jordan were playing hed hit the couch almost everytime. Youre great at this, love your comments. All the best to you and yours.u

    hey great reaction ItzJustJP, yes you got it, I'm 60, Bird fan since his college days, from CT where the C's would play some home games, we watched every game they had on tv, NESN cable, NBC, whatever- EVERY GAME he made plays like you said, damn wtf, how'd he do that?...now there's other players like that, but then add his trash talking, toughness, clutch play, etc the whole package, the guy was nuts, a true basketball freak and killer...anyone that tried challenging him found it out but quick...MJ dropped 63 on him, next game they meet he scores 33 in the first half! lol unstoppable,...ok, keep it up, nice..

    So this video has the Larry legend and Rodman incident incorrect, saw several but separate videos of Larry, Rodman and isaiah Explaining or responding to this.. not narrated, it was actually them
    The game the narrator mentioned happened before the comment from Rodman, which is why he made the comment in the first place 😉
    and when the comment caused a lot of controversy Isaiah attempted to cover for Rodman which didn’t go well, but it did bother a lot of people and a press conference resulted and Larry was frustrated with being pulled away from practice for the next game over something that he considered trivial and didn’t bother him.
    Larry just wanted to go play basketball

    • @LSFA-KrissyL16
      @LSFA-KrissyL16 8 місяців тому +4

      yeah, that wasn't explained correctly at all. Bird didn't care about that. wasn't worth his time or attention. he knew how superior he was and would never take seriously anyone saying any different. he had better shiz to do. if anything, he would have liked being called a black player cause he thought they were naturally more athletic. 😂
