seventeen put a lot of attention into making sure every single thing is synchronized. on one hand i do think it’s because they are labled the synchronization kings and have been acknowledged by literally everyone in the industy bcs of it. and on the other hand if you watch any of their behind the scenes dance practice’s when they are learning choreography they immediately fix when someone is out of sync bcs it doesn’t look good in their eyes, it bothers them especially hoshi who many times will keep rerunning certain aspect of the choreo until it all matches. hoshi’s hawk eyes can even catch a finger in the wrong position lol. i don’t know how he’s able to see every single member’s movements at to once. seventeen are just so talented and so involved in their craft it’s honestly insane to see.

And about what Simon said about their synchronization, I always just had the thought that they were like an average of 14 years old and started training since they were literal children, their bond that was built through the trauma they had to go through in the melon room definitely helped with their synergy.
I think their relationship with each other, how they teach and learn from each other, how they respect and encourage each other also contribute to their amazing synchronicity and overall, performance. Coups did say on Nana Tour that he was strict with the members during their trainee days until debut but that reflected unto the stage as well so they had to do something about it. This is why they are now a group who doesn't really strictly adhere to the Korean culture of seniority and they treat each other all like friends of the same age who can voice their opinions 😊
Btw, i'm not sure if you noticed by Coups wasn't able to join them here or during God of Music promotions cause of his knee injury and the very first time he was able to sing his part live was during their Follow Again concert tour in Seoul only this year 🥲 PS. Today is Sep 26 in Korea, the day Jeonghan enlists for his military duty 🫡🥲

So many dancers and performers who have reacted to Seventeen before have said that SVT could only be this synchronized because of their bond and closeness. Some members have known each other since 2011, so it's basically become natural for them to just sync up. Also, practice. Hoshi especially is known for being strict about details. There's a lot of footage of him talking about doing certain moves at exact angles and telling the members to do the same. Watching their behind videos these past few years though, I think every single member is particular about details now too. They all just correct each other and make things more perfect by each detail, it's almost built into them now.
I love Kerry's "symbiotic relationship" lol Yeah, SVT has practice days where they specifically focuses more on details of each routine and step, ensuring everyone is aligned with how they understand the choreo and how they'll execute it. You'll be able to have a glimpse of theese practice days on 'Inside Seventeen' episodes.
I smiled when you went back after seeing Jeonghan get censored/protected. By the way, I always think of the censoring thing as the idols asking for it because sometimes only certain members are censored. So I figured that they're probably asking them to censor it when they want to.
