About S.Coups, he may be the oldest in Seventeen but in his family he's the youngest. So what you said about him being easily influenced may have something to do with that and also why he acts like the youngest most of the time.

I think it's more so that s.coups is more willing to take risks in going seventeen. he did anticipate that someone would have a stop card when he put in the boss card in the Boss game, and during the Rock Paper Scissors episode, I remember at one point he told Jeonghan that "only you and I have the guts to do that in our team".
The clip in the video, as a Korean, I could see where the misunderstanding came from - it was confusing because when he first suggested it, it wasn't a clear "yes, let's do it!" they were sort of like "let's rely on our senses" which made it seem like they were rejecting his idea.
