Sometimes games do not need things like "gameplay" or "decisions" they can simply be a vehicle to deliver a bunch of good jokes and cool sprites for an hour to the backing of extremely good stolen music

First opening of the anime The Galaxy Railways. It's made by one of the original Yamato creators and the opening is sung by the original Yamato op singer so it's a very similar vibe.
When they are defeated they reveal they're Chiibe, the protaganist's doll that turned evil because they whispered swear words in its ear on the playground, and stop being evil. Eclypson rigs the teleporter to the moon to disintegrate them.

This Dev really knows how to set up some hype moments. That "Ah." that eclipson says after realizing he's fucked is some damn nice cathartic feels.
