I appreciate that you even had Yu Yevon flying around in the background 😂 very nice attention to detail
Man took all the aggro without even trying. Then he turned a turn based JRPG into Street Fighter.
Whenever one of them attacks I swear I hear them saying "GYAAT!!!" 💀
That FF10 battle theme still slaps!!!!! I still have a mild heart attack anytime I hear it lmao
Next time I go to Momocon, I’ll have this playing when walking through centennial park.🎉
FFX is my favorite FF, but no. The boss battle music from FFX is the worst in the series.
FFX left a good taste for JRPG in our memories... I miss it so much.
Awesome storyline and battles.
If there was a FFX remake that was like FFXVI in terms of graphical quality i would instantly but it.
Legend of dragoon was better.
Bruh, FFX was the biggest letdown I've ever experienced in a game. You play through the game only to find out that you were never even a real person. Screw that troll game.
@@MarSprite Give a try and play the FFX-2 and check the good ending. By the way, it's just fantasy.🤣
@@RainbowKittyya remake for ten is coming out
Doesn’t even let the party have their turn lmao
0:42 That punch in the face was personal 😂😂
Their's also fights where bosses specifically avoid certain members for story reason. One that comes to mind iirc is that Rude from FFVII has a crush on Tifa so specifically avoids hitting her unless she's the only character still alive.
Another good example is Yakuza 7. If you have female characters in your party, Kiryu would avoid attacking them.
Also in FFIX. Spoiler.
Black Waltz No. 2 only goes after two party members except Garnet because returning her back to Alexandria alive is No. 2's main task.
Wild ARMs 3! In the first fight against the female Prophet, she will only attack Clive due to him insulting her “beauty.”
in FFVIIR Rude isn't as hesitant to attack Tifa to my knowledge BUT if his command grab move catches her then he just gives her a sort of karate chop to the back, where if Cloud or Barret get caught by it then he freaking yeets them
its even more apparent in his firs tfight agaisn tcloud and aerith. i think rude just wont hit women in general. just spams sleep instead@@keeganlafferty1395
In dragon quest this usually means that your in the front and need to back the fuck off
I was kinda also expecting the case where the Boss does a Random Targeting Multi-Hit attack and it all just goes to the same guy.
I WOULD'VE CRIED LOL
I don't know how this man manages to make such spectacular, unique videos, each one better than the other, the FFX soundtrack is wonderful
This and the Persona 5 royal soundtrack are the two best ever imo
@@BrickFlairMMA Fax 👍FFX is a more special game for me but both video games are impeccable, as are their soundtracks
It's always the one who dealt the most damage gets hit and it makes us had to waste all the healing items only for one member
Sometimes you gotta say f*** the turn base strategy and just throw them hands 😂
there's a difference between turn-based and turn-based strategy. FFX is turn-based. Civilization is turn-based strategy.
What do you expect? The boss finally realized he might win if he takes out the healer first.
Jevil from deltarune agrees with that 😂
Japanese were using that tactic all the way back in WWII
The guy equipped with the Buster Sword as a healer?
@@haku2597 Well someone has to be
“Don’t f**k with the white mage.” -Dende
My boy got hit so hard he gained sentience.
I've been playing star rail lately. And this is so true. Tingyun despite being one of the squishiest characters, is always targeted twice as much as the rest of the party combined.
Star rail is good as I been playing it a heap as well! I didn’t get pull jing yuan and I’m salty about it lol or seele actually
Tingyun hidden passive: Aggro increases 9000x
I use her with Trailblazer preservation since they have taunt that allows to Tingyun to live much longer
Same except with Gepard like his very existence just offended every single enemies and their ancestors.
@@nunyabusiness3652 well gepard at least has both the innate higher aggro value from the preservation class, and a trace which increases his aggro value even further.
Tingyun has none of that, but is still targeted just as much.
It’s the way the looming boss shuffles over to punch and kick him that really gets me, lol
"So anyone going to use your Overdrive?"
Hits close to home
@Kit Kat Nice try
LMAO 1:44 it went from Final Fantasy to Street Fighter.
the dude with the sword and gun both held in non-optimal positions. Love it
Love that you own a Red Queen. One of my favorite swords in video game history. The fact that you can rev it is genius.
Amazing work on this skit, Cil. It's crazy how you just keep getting better every year.
As a JRPG player, I can relate to this party member struggle 😅
I love when bosses do this, especially when there's a lot of healing available and buffs, so I can just use that party member as a tank.
@@hariman7727 Yeah. Same as well. Turning the healer as a damage sponge when needed. Although, I feel my party member healer wouldn't appreciate it >.
I've never seen such an AWESOME final boss!!! The pure depth of creativity 😮😮😮
Ay I love the detail of like FFX where the camera goes to the enemy and they do nothing for a sec, and then they make their move. Good shit as always
1:05
And then the pump fakeout at 1:16 had me dying 😂😂
Missing the part where the boss downs that party member and once you revive them, they straight go back to targeting them
He activated the cinematic phase 2 transition at the end 😂😂😂
Tingyun in honkai starrail be like:
Lore accurate Tingyun actually, foxians are really something else 💀
Seriously. I was grinding relics last night, and i swear every time the fight opened without Clara's ult that voidranger guy focused agro on tingyun. And even when Clara did ult it was only mostly effective.
@@MercuryA2000same Thing with Gepard preservation are the ones who have the Most Aggro but mf still want to Focus tingyun
A real head-turner.
The screams of pain are so genuine. XD so glad the boss got surprised like that, cathartic
The epic staredown in turn based JRPGs can never be beat. This is funny asf.
lol the “oh yeah? Oh yeah? You done messed up now!” From the boss gets me everytime 😂
The funniest part for me is simply the boss's body language during the idle animation. Nobody would question that in a video game. But seeing it live action, it is absolutely ridiculous.
Your production values have gotten so much better in the past year. Great video as always.
The guy who is getting his ass beaten continuously must have use the spell "taunt" at the boss lol
This was literally the Wendigo boss fight at lake Macalania. He was only going after Tidus. Couldn't even revive him without Wendigo knocking him out next turn. Lol, i forgot i even had this memory from 20yrs ago until i saw this skit. Good job.
His berserk damage was insane for that point in the game. Dude would just one shot and fade everyone in the party
