    This is helpful, but most places right now are just wasting A LOT interviewers time. For roles that they never fill. I made it to final rounds 10-15 times before finally finding my new role (which I love). #3, it is not your fault. Especially if you were positive and doing the best you can. I sat on an interview once with a hiring manager who had the worst stone face/ low energy I had ever seen. Threw every interviewer off and they had a lot of declines in offers as a result. The last thing you want is a toxic manager. It works both ways.

      Yup very true its definitely a 2 way street! If candidates feel the one interviewing is not friendly or bad energy - could be major red flags for sure. Always have to keep your eyes out for these kind of managers!

    It is very difficult for me to get along with managers. I don’t trust any of them. Now I’m on disability.

    I worked in a tech job before I retired. I got to know the person in HR and that person told me they only want to hire, retire and fire people. Women in the workplace only brings more work to the HR department. Most of the workers were men that work together, sometimes being close when using test equipment. The men won’t talk to or help women as they don’t want to be accused of any wrong doing including just accidentally bumping them under these circumstances. The solution for this is to not hire women. These were jobs over $100K a year.

    I think these tips are helpful for people who keep getting interviews but don't get hired, but it's not helpful for people who continually apply but never get interviews. Could you do a separate video about that situation?

      ^^ Have you had a chance to review this video yet? Your resume not standing OUT from the crowd may be the challenge! What role(s) are you applying for?

    How to mention a 5 years career gap due to family reasons in my resume when i haven't done any new courses in that period but have all essential knowledge and skills required to do the job ? How to effectively mention it in interviews also to not spoil our chances..

      I would list it on your resume as "personal family break" and be honest and transparent about that in interviews! You don't need to go into details, but being honest will do a long way. We all need breaks at times.

      @@careersuccessnow_ Insightful !
      I've heard some career coach say the same 'as don't go into details'.. why is that important and what to say if asked in details about it ? What is the reason behind it..

    • @careersuccessnow_
      @careersuccessnow_  2 місяці тому +1

      @mohibquadri4053 if they ask for details just keep it simple! You were taking care of family that's it most people won't dig further than that

      It is almost impossible to land an interview with a five year gap, even in retail or any entry level low paying jobs, anything over 3 months is a death sentence to your resume. One suggestion would be try to find a job through referrals or family and friends network and build from there.

    Taking paid vacation time is a great way to get fired. I speak from experience…. If you like your job, do NOT take vacations
