Don't blame CHER for Gregg Allman's shortcomings. She has always been an awesome human being. According to Wikipedia, her awesomeness started in grade school, when she did a production of the musical Oklahoma for her classmates and teacher. She's also never had any issues with drugs, alcohol, or arrogant social attitudes. I'm sure she only wanted to help Gregg with the help that he obviously needed. She may well have been the link that got him through his own demise. Sorry, but the way you all scoffed at her really rubbed me the wrong way. By the way, she wanted to go in the hard rock direction in the early 70's, but Sonny didn't want to. Just sayin'... she was/is super-cool and a genuinely good person too.
I was at that Stadium show in cleveland in 77 when he was touring Comes Alive. The bands that day were Derringer, J Geils, bob seger and Frampton. All the bands who played before him were better that day. Sorry , frampton
The only post 80s Def Leppard album I enjoyed was Euphoria which had strong tracks like Demolition Man + Promises.. Precisely what the other post 87 releases lacked..5 strong albums in 46 years isn't that impressive.

I liked that band Gretchen who did the album Mouthful Of Nails and some of the other Christian bands from the early 2000s.Pillar,Switchfoot,etc.
The power has been out for 5 days here in VA,so I'll have to watch the episode once it's restored.
