With the right amount heat in the right spot, you can make that shift lever any angle you want without having to remove the "widowmaker" spring and keeper. I heated up and moved my shifter 2 inches to the right to give me more leg room. Just a thought for consideration. Love your series!
We considered that option, but came across Craig Riker’s butlerized shifter and we just had to have it for the Red Lady. We bought a butlerized instrument panel from him as well that we will install in a future episode.

It's not "600 weight" oil .. it's 600W, which is anywhere from SAE 140 weight to 250 weight, depending on supplier.
