But did this really happen?

Mother Mariana de Jesus Torres actually died 3 times. Also the statue of the Holy Mother there has been known to change its appearance and move around from time to time.
Pray the novena to OL Of Good Success starts Jan. 24, feast day Feb.2.

Let me begin by commending I Miss Christendom for the fantastic videos. They have been a great inspiration for my 2024 New Year's resolution which is: To seek the truth, learn my faith, and to live out my faith. I have also resolved to minimize my time getting wrapped around the axle of what I catholic social media soap opera.
I have become convinced that the time tested, pressure tested teachings is where I need to place my focus.
I have a long way to go but I believe the journey will be worth it.
I ask for prayers while I pursue these resolutions and am open to suggestions, etc.

Great video. I assume you didn't want to get into another controversy by referring to Mons. Lefebvre's famous 1988 sermon, during the episcopal consecrations, which earned him an excommunication from JPII. In this sermon he spoke of the "prelate" of the prophecy who would oppose the apostasy of the Church during the 20th century. Mons. Lefebvre was a humble and saintly man, so it is remarkable that at such a crucial moment, with so many people listening, he dared to suggest that he might be this prelate, alluded to by the Virgin Mary 400 years prior. This always gave me a lot to think about. I believe that the prophecy is true, that there will come a terrible chastisement, that the Church will be restored afterwards, and that in this period of the Church's triumph, Archbishop Lefebvre will finally be canonised, and they will reference this prophecy when he is ascended to the altars.

Our Lady of Good Success, should actually be called *Our* *Lady* *of* *Buen* *Suceso* *of* *the* *Purification* , as the Governing Sisters of the Royal Monastery of the Conceptionists in Quito with the support of the Archbishop of Quito - have asked anglophone (and all other language) apostolates spreading the devotion to henceforth refer to Our Lady under her full title of “Buen Suceso of the Purification”-retaining the Spanish term.
In Quito, the official title is Nuestra Señora del Buen Suceso de la Purificación. This would translate literally as “Our Lady of the Good Event of the Purification”.
The English speaking world in the last century has come to know Her as Our Lady of Good Success because of a *mistranslation* of the Spanish “Buen Suceso” to “Good Success”, when it really means “Good Event”.
