As a 57 yr old chosen Toffee from birth and I blame my Dad 😂You're both spot on. I was furious when Dyche was appointed and I really expected us to get thumped today. You are both spot on on all points but we must remember that Branthwaite and Tarky haven't had a pre-season at all. Dyche is a shithouse 🤣.
Well i wasnt expecting to get anything today so to get a point it feels like a win ok we played 11 behind the ball like usual but we take it and move on hopefully we can get a result against chelsea and then December might not be as bad as we all thought COYB
Les you say “there’s nothing upfront” but it’s been like that for 5 seasons and we’ve sold our best attackers since then making it even worse. Doucoure got put clean through on goal and he took an age to get the ball under control but somehow took even longer to actually hit the ball. It’s a championship level attack however we set up we’ll barely hit 40 goals.
It has been - and I've no idea what Doucoure was waiting for (Gabriel to get there?) - but they can't possibly be so bad they can't form any sort of attacking threat at all, unless a team is as chronic as Wolves
@@TheBlueRoomEFC they really are mate we’re the only team in the division that fails to get a shot on goal from that doucoure chance. Wolves going forward have got much more than us but you can compare our attack to their defending, neither are good enough at this level no matter who is the coach both will struggle in those areas
Totally disagree on Broja. He was pretty poor until the last 10 minutes. He didn't do what Fom can give us, which puts so much more pressure on the rest of the team. Brojas positions were terrible. He had chances to cut passes off, making it difficult for the opposition. He didn't do that. There were times when he didn't bother pressing the ball and just looked like he couldn't be bothered. He showed what he can do I'm glimpses in the last 10, but we could have conceded in the time he couldn't be bothered and it would have been on him for not putting in the "hard yards" if you can't do that when your coming on with 35 minutes left, you're not ready to start.
Dave is actually on mars, I love JP and he’s saved us many times but he’s not and never will be the best GK in the league. He blames Dyche for how bad we look but says “JP is the only reason we aren’t in the championship”. The problems we have only get fixed when we buy the solution, everyone wants better football until we look like Southampton getting caught messing with the ball. Even our best player (Jarrad) played two hospital passes that almost threw the game away.
Dave have you considered that Beto only came in for one game because we had a match 3 days later so we kept DCL fit for Wolves? Beto came out of the team because he’s pony, we got battered 4-0 with Beto then won 4-0 and got a 0-0 against a better team than Man United after swapping back to DCL 🤷♂️
It baffles me that people still don’t understand that our players are miles better at defending than they are at scoring goals. Even Ndiaye and DCL are better at defending than they are at scoring goals which is why Dyche can get a tune out of them defensively. Ironically the only player who has shown they’re better at scoring goals than they are at defending is Keane who’s a centre back…
It's the complete lack of any attacking threat that bothers me though, it's completely non-existent. They're bad but they can't be THAT bad, surely (and it places loads more pressure on an already overworked defence)
@@TheBlueRoomEFC they ARE that bad though mate we’re championship level when it comes to scoring goals it’s nothing new, our fans have been living in denial over this for years
By and large we have poor players. Maybe some will improve but I don’t think there is many. Rebuild on the cards but a manager who could improve our players, at least with better tactics. Not an Everton team and the quicker Dyche is out the better. UTFT
Just on this topic who are the players who you think were better under Lampard than under Dyche? I’d argue that Dyche has managed to squeeze more out of the majority of this squad than the previous manager did.
They can muster a threat they just aren't good enough to take advantage of it. This is why I believe it more the players than Dyches tactics. Perfect example Dacoure.

Haha! Always blame the parents, mate 🤝
Pickford was immense
Great point but that is the exact same tactics we use against teams like Brentford with ten men at home

Couldn't agree more its shitehousery football. It's like he plays zone'l attacking pointless. But a win is a win COYB.

City look like a mix table team. They were shocking yesterday, even though United were equally as poor.
*inserts "Ha-Ha! Time for Everton" meme*
What a bunch of dreamers. Have you not noticed how bad our players are.
They're bad, but I'm not having they're SO bad that they can't muster any sort of attacking threat.
