I have been traveling through SC to NC for more than 20 years. There is always road construction going on. Wouldn’t you think by now they would have fairly good roads. It’s never ending and the roads don’t improve
Hello! My husband turned on your video today and I said, “Oh, it’s Saturday!” We have been staying at Yemassee The Oaks TT for two weeks. It was booked up pretty much when I made reservations, but there have always been sites open. My husband thinks you didn’t come here because it was booked. I think you didn’t come here because you wanted to be closer to the water. Lol. Anyway, next time you are this way go visit Beaufort. It has lots of cool, historic buildings. There’s a National Monument there. We loved the swings facing the waterfront. I assume (I think many viewers assume) you are on your way to FL. Maybe we’ll see you there!

We started full timing last year. My husband "worked" on me for 2 years to sell our home and buy a motorhome and head out after he retired. I was a little hesitant, but after my open heart surgery, I knew that our time left on this earth was precious and we have enjoyed this lifestyle ever since! Now I can't imagine going back to a "sticks and bricks" any time soon! ;-). Blessings you both.

Oh yes, I enjoyed the beach tour on the E-bikes and the ocean sunset view. Great video with a yummy find of peanut butter pie. I’ve never had peanut butter pie. The sliding bed liner is a great idea. I plan to introduce the idea to my hubby for his work truck. My truck is the F350, crew cab, 8’ bed that pulls my goose neck horse trailer so the slider won’t work in that one. We lived on Hilton head for 2.5 years ... love Hudsons ❤️. Go to shelter cove and check out the restaurants their too .. 😀 you can find sharks teeth on the north end of the island at Port Royal sound area
So cool. We stayed @ Lake Jasper last year and LOVED IT. Cannot wait to go back someday. HHI is one of the places we are thinking about for our home base when we retire. Awesome video. Appreciate your content.
When our little 2 year old great grandson was learning “thumbs up” he would call it “shabot”. I’m not sure how he got shabot from thumbs up but the whole family says it now. Michelle reminds me of it when she says “and hit that thumbs up” at the end of the video. Thanks for sharing the video.

I just started the long journey into learning how to shoot video and edit it. I always appreciated your editing before but after watching my first tutorial regarding editing, I now have a much bigger appreciation for what all the U-Tube content creators go through. You have to do audio, video, inserting B-roll, music, graphics, title cards……holy shit! There’s so much more work than I ever thought there was. Hopefully I’ll eventually learn and it won’t seem as hard but I’m completely overwhelmed by it right now. Thank you so much for ALL the editing it takes to produce your videos. It’s really incredible!!

Hello, a nice video. If you are back in the area it’s a short and easy drive to jump over the Broad River and visit Beaufort. Sgt Jasper is a good campground that is nicely located. Beaufort is fun and historic with great shopping, tours, and restaurants. So worth a visit especially in the fall and winter. Don’t miss a stop at somewhat out of the way Penn Center. All this area is hotter than hades in the summer though but if you can take the heat it’s fun then as well. I miss the Lowcountry.
Another great video! Really enjoyed the bike ride on the beach and the sunset! Hudson's is a must when we go visit friends. Those SC roads are make for a miserable drive. Can't wait to meet you guys at the Meet and Greet in Tampa in January! Safe travels you guys!
The climb up the lighthouse takes forever as you read the picture boards and history on the way up!!! The views are magnificent!! That Island is a paradise!

Great videos guys. You did a wonderful job of highlighting the Carolinas coastal areas. Becky and I spend time yearly exploring the coast of the Carolinas from Nags Head to Hilton Head in our MH. We always eat at Hudson’s, indulge in the peanut butter pie, and camp at Hilton Head Harbor RV Resort. If we ever age out of RVing our plan is to purchase a winter place somewhere in the “SC low country.” After the holidays we’re heading to south central Florida.
Ahhhhh beautiful HH and Georgia 🍑 we spent a week in HH right by Coligny beach a few years back, took a day trip to GA river walk, another day to sea pines. Loved it down there. ⛄️Wintering at home in PA but you kids sure make me want to escape back to SC ☀️ Maybe in May !
Nice production. It's been quite a long time since I've spent any meaningful time on the east coast. Going to have to make a trip out that way. Have had my channel active in the past, I still spend time with comments. I can see that when your channel gets to a certain amount of viewers, the comments can become overwhelming. Difficult to manage, I'm sure. Don't let it take over - enjoy living your vision.

Enjoyed watching the east coast videos. I am currently living in Maryland, however lived near Virginia Beach and originally from SC. Your videos took me down memory lane.
Well at least you found Hudsons. Right next door to one of our condo’s. We avoid the lighthouse area and head to south beach. If you did not get a salty dog t-shirt…shame on you. Also, did you find the ice cream shop near Coligny? Opposite corner of the piggly wiggly. My kids grew up on that ice cream and still make it a must stop if they join us down there. Gators are common but never bother anyone. They relocate them on e they get over 5 feet. Be glad you stayed off island. The one place near the traffic circle down the street from Coligny is way over priced and snooty! Ya’ll made a good choice. We were in Savannah this past Mon and Tue helping my son move there. Hope you had time to tour some of the squares…enormous history in almost every one. Take care and have a great week!
Y'all should check out Hunting Island. It's in Beaufort SC and absolutely gorgeous! It's a state park with great camping. I personally think it's the best beach in beaufort county.

We were very disappointed in our visit a few yrs ago. We love "lighthousing", but this one was more of a tourist trap rather than a historical light. So sad...
I go to hilton head every summer and its cool watching you go to all the same places I love to visit. In coligny there's an amazing hot sauce store called Hot Daddy's.
I have been going to HHI every summer for about 20 years. My favorite places to eat are: Kenny B's, it is a small place near cologny beach in old Bi-lo shopping center-- serving good cajun dishes, and One Hot Mama's-- lunch menu has best prices. If I went to the island and either place was closed I would be so dissappointed.

The seafood at the beginning, was that Hudson on the dock ?, next time in Savannah go to river street sweets on Savannah ga. There’s only one way on and off the island, and there’s quite a few different places with gators on Hilton head island. Did you see any dolphins while on the beach ??
Yes it was Hudson’s that we ate at in the beginning. We’ll have to try that River Street Sweets next time we’re in Savannah. 👍🏻 No we didn’t see any dolphins while on the beach. We really liked that beach!
Good morning, have you ever tracked your eating costs compared to eating out and or inside your rolling home when on the road like now we imagine cost is up a bit for restaurants and fuel ?
We have not tracked the costs. We usually eat in during the week and eat out on the weekends when we’re out filming. Sometimes though, depending on how a work day is going we may go out to grab a quick, cheap bite.
Go to Hilton Head Toys while you are down across from Caligny Beach or the one at the HHI Lighthouse. That’s my sons stores. They have great toys for Christmas!
Another great video. Just curious, e-bikes are one our list of possible purchases in 2022, how often do you use them and specifically on the beach, do you have any concerns about getting sand in the gears etc. Thanks for a beautiful video and sharing your fun time, and food of course!
We have been trying to use them more then we have been since we got them. Our problem is a lack of time to do so. We absolutely LOVED riding them and want to ride them more often. We have not had any problems with sand in any gears. Thanks again!
Love your eating establishments ratings and your sense of humor. Curious as to how long in advance you book your destinations, sounds like you are headed to Florida for winter months and heard it is pretty hard to gain a reservation (RV) in that area.
Our Thousand Trails membership allows us to book 120 days in advance and the Trails Collection (for Encore resorts) allow us to book 60 days in advance. We try to utilize those to shuffle around for the winter in FL.

Sandra Westley uk, I think they just keep an eye on there weight as it invalidates your insurance if your over, should you have an accident, it’s just as important here also.
Hi Dennis, to reiterate what Sandra said, we just keep an eye on our weight once in a while when we know a lot of weight has been changed or added just to be sure that we are still under the GVWR, which is 10,000 lbs on Stella. 👍🏻

Been going to HHI all my life. Just spent Thanksgiving there. I enjoyed your video, I love to get other peoples' perspectives of the island. BTW, Miss Bessie's pie and those hushpuppies ARE the best! Hudsons is my favorite seafood restaurant.

Well at least you found Hudsons. Right next door to one of our condo’s. We avoid the lighthouse area and head to south beach. If you did not get a salty dog t-shirt…shame on you. Also, did you find the ice cream shop near Coligny? Opposite corner of the piggly wiggly. My kids grew up on that ice cream and still make it a must stop if they join us down there. Gators are common but never bother anyone. They relocate them on e they get over 5 feet. Be glad you stayed off island. The one place near the traffic circle down the street from Coligny is way over priced and snooty! Ya’ll made a good choice. We were in Savannah this past Mon and Tue helping my son move there. Hope you had time to tour some of the squares…enormous history in almost every one. Take care and have a great week!

Y'all should check out Hunting Island. It's in Beaufort SC and absolutely gorgeous! It's a state park with great camping. I personally think it's the best beach in beaufort county.

I go to hilton head every summer and its cool watching you go to all the same places I love to visit. In coligny there's an amazing hot sauce store called Hot Daddy's.

I have been going to HHI every summer for about 20 years. My favorite places to eat are: Kenny B's, it is a small place near cologny beach in old Bi-lo shopping center-- serving good cajun dishes, and One Hot Mama's-- lunch menu has best prices. If I went to the island and either place was closed I would be so dissappointed.

The seafood at the beginning, was that Hudson on the dock ?, next time in Savannah go to river street sweets on Savannah ga. There’s only one way on and off the island, and there’s quite a few different places with gators on Hilton head island. Did you see any dolphins while on the beach ??
Yes it was Hudson’s that we ate at in the beginning. We’ll have to try that River Street Sweets next time we’re in Savannah. 👍🏻

Good morning, have you ever tracked your eating costs compared to eating out and or inside your rolling home when on the road like now we imagine cost is up a bit for restaurants and fuel ?
We have not tracked the costs. We usually eat in during the week and eat out on the weekends when we’re out filming. Sometimes though, depending on how a work day is going we may go out to grab a quick, cheap bite.

Go to Hilton Head Toys while you are down across from Caligny Beach or the one at the HHI Lighthouse. That’s my sons stores. They have great toys for Christmas!

Another great video. Just curious, e-bikes are one our list of possible purchases in 2022, how often do you use them and specifically on the beach, do you have any concerns about getting sand in the gears etc. Thanks for a beautiful video and sharing your fun time, and food of course!
We have been trying to use them more then we have been since we got them. Our problem is a lack of time to do so. We absolutely LOVED riding them and want to ride them more often. We have not had any problems with sand in any gears. Thanks again!

Love your eating establishments ratings and your sense of humor. Curious as to how long in advance you book your destinations, sounds like you are headed to Florida for winter months and heard it is pretty hard to gain a reservation (RV) in that area.
Our Thousand Trails membership allows us to book 120 days in advance and the Trails Collection (for Encore resorts) allow us to book 60 days in advance. We try to utilize those to shuffle around for the winter in FL.

Sandra Westley uk, I think they just keep an eye on there weight as it invalidates your insurance if your over, should you have an accident, it’s just as important here also.
Hi Dennis, to reiterate what Sandra said, we just keep an eye on our weight once in a while when we know a lot of weight has been changed or added just to be sure that we are still under the GVWR, which is 10,000 lbs on Stella. 👍🏻
