Thanks David. I’ve often considered titles but thought it a bit superfluous if stated in the commentary and didn’t want to detract from the images. Maybe a quick and not too obtrusive title might work.
@@GregBaker57 Thanks for giving this suggestion some thought. It is sometimes difficult for us not so knowledgeable birders to pick up the names from the audio. Stay safe and well
Thank you ever so much Greg for your excellent series on birding in The Gambia. I'm in the middle of planning a trip. Your series is so very helpful for studying the birds and a good overlook at the habitats. Curious please, did you go with an organized tour, or as independent traveler?
It was an independent trip arranged through Farakunku Lodges (farakunku-lodges.com). They also organised our guide, Ebrima Njie who runs his own guiding company called Birdlife Africa (birdlifeafrica.wordpress.com).
No background music, great camera.. Beautiful narration
You are great documentary maker Greg.
Very good the three videos, I plan to go this year which place do you recommend to stay , which Lodges, thanks.
Farakunku Lodge which features in the first video is a great lodge and is well situated for the main sites.
Thanks
Goodday , thanks for the great serie but did you film all these birds at The Farakunku Lodges??
Yes, those in Part One of the series were filmed at and around (within walking distance) Farakunku Lodge
A superb video. As a keen amateur birder on screen bird names would be a big help. Keep up the good work.

Not sure what you mean? The video covers birds seen at Farakunku Lodge. My other videos cover other sites visited in The Gambia.
@@GregBaker57 sorry if I bothered U , what I meant birds like turaco , hamerkop, grey parrots , fisheagle , palm nut vulture and Black crowned crane
Many of those are not present in The Gambia مهند جبارة
