Thank you for posting these! I'm using them to study and prep for my first birding tour to Ecuador.
Really impressive video to be enjoyed for the birds, otters, whales, seals and Alaska scenery. I will watch all parts of the Alaska videos that you filmed. Thanks for sharing this amazing video.
Great series Greg. Really enjoyed watching each and every one.
Fantastic view,nice documentary
Excellent video from an amazing place.
An exceptional video Greg; plenty of time to enjoy fantastic views of the birds, No irritating background music and a joy to watch.
I really enjoyed the series. Thanks for creating and sharing it.
i like video!!!
Great series of videos. Thanks for sharing.
Very interesting to see the world through your eyes. Really love the experience. Thank you so much for your work! Wish you health and success!
Thank you for the series, very informative with enjoyable insight to areas that most will not have the opportunity to enjoy in person. Looking forward to more of your work!
Class vid mate. 👍
Love your videos Greg
You have literally spoiled us with this series Greg! Early Christmas gift. I feel like this is what UA-cam was meant to be like. No ads, no pop-ups asking for likes and subscribe.
Completely agree
Wonderful to see Lapland and Snow Buntings in their breeding colours; very different to their appearance when I see them in Hokkaido (and even then all too infrequently sadly).
Great series once again. Thank you for sharing your wonderful footage with us so that we can bird vicariously through you.
Beautiful shots! At minute 23:12 the Lesser Yellowlegs shows a green flag on his left tibia. Do you know where it had been ringed (or banded) before?
@@TheJacksnipe I presume ringed at the site (Connor’s Bog) as the nesting platform for the Pacific Divers there was clearly part of a local conservation initiative.
@@GregBaker57 Okay, thank you!
Greg nice video I really enjoyed it, just like the video we took together in the Gambia.
@@ebrimanjie8224 Thanks Ebrima. Hope all is well with you.
I noticed the Title had "Birding in Alaska 2002 - Part Two: The Kenai Peninsula" vs I think the correct year is " Birding in Alaska 2022 - Part Two: The Kenai Peninsula". I just wanted you to be aware. I grew up in Alaska and really miss it. You did an excellent job on all the videos and a description of all the birds. I am sorry that Covid changed your itinerary some. But I hope you enjoyed your trip and congratulations on seeing so many places and Birds in Alaska. I learned things and some go to places myself for my next trip there.
@@bruceholmes4006 You’re right! Thanks for noticing.
26:08 I thought to myself, that's a NICE-looking bird, just lookit that wing, I'm gonna go look at some more pictures of that on e-bird. And there's Greg Baker's 2017 photo of a juvenile silver-capped fruit dove... Heh.
Great video, we share a few of of the same species shown here where I live (Hokkaido)...well Glaucous-winged Gulls anyway 😆
This series has been amazing, thanks for sharing
💓This was quite enjoyable.... I saw a male lapland Larkspur just outside my city in central Alberta..
What a beautiful video. Like nature television used to be like.
Lovely video! Thank you! Really enjoying seeing Alaska!
Nice one mate, vids coming thick and fast...love it.
Another great video!
Amazing documentary video. I absolutely LOVE your narration. Your voice is perfect for it! Sounds like a National Geographic documentary with David Attenborough narrating. Great work.
@@jenniferdacreativeexplorer Many thanks for your kind comments
Was waiting for this for several years. Please visit Sri Lanka
Thank you for sharing these Greg. These are even more delightful as I can't go out much since having a baby.
Kindly please enlarge your bird names please for better quality and easier reading. 🙏🙏🙏🙏
The names of each bird you labelled in your video is too tiny. Can you please make it larger and more visible ?
@@markshen3280 Hmmm … balancing act between visibility and being too intrusive but I understand your point.
Greg, I really enjoyed your video; no intrusive music to ruin the presentation and a good commentary. Very therapeutic!
very good bro
Great series of videos thus far, Greg. I visited all these areas in June 2019. Main memories of Tanglefoot Inn are a brief swim in the lake (brrr!) and a great look at a pair of Barrow's Goldeneye on a nearby pond.
amazing video
Another class video mate. Always loved your narration style. Bird of part 2 for me was that Townsend's Warbler...blinder of a bird that.
This is beautiful and impressive. Thank you for posting.
Absolutely wonderful video! Thank you for sharing beautiful content with us. Have a healthy and happy days always!
Outstanding, i do lots of bird videos here in coastal Virginia, each Wednesday is a video based around the bird bath
Fabulous video, as always. Thank you for taking us along.
Great video as always Greg can’t wait for part two 👍
Great video Greg.
Beautiful birds and very good video. I got nervous when the background music continued for over 3 minutes, and I thought it would be like that to the end… But luckily it stopped , and as an introduction it is welcome 😊 Many videos on youtube has a never ending loud background music, that is very annoying and can only mean that they think the actual content is not good and need to be drowned in bad music.
Please upload new videos
@@nazuddin6346 New series on Alaska is to be published soon!
I'm still waiting for new videos They are among the best filmed and narrated on youtube
@@brianhansen6477 A new series on Alaska due this month, hopefully first will be available next week.
Are there area's not that polluted and not so over crowded with ppl? With some more authentic nature?
@@petertamerus4320 Yes Peter. If you watch the other videos in this series you will see many. The north-west of The Gambia is the most populated.
When I see the video I see dirt and plastic every where , that annoys me terribly . And when I see the the small parts of nature that rest for birds it makes me angry . Mankind is destroying here too. I would make my trip to Gambia a let down. We better don't go there anymore , tourisme makes it only worse. Sorry for not being positive.
whooooa, the potoo chick!!!!
