It is crazy how hitting your head like that left you with over 4 years' worth of concussion symptoms! I can not imagine going through that. I would have never guessed you lived with this if you hadn't shared this story. Praying this gets better and you fully heal, and also that your story helps many others who hear it!🙏❤️❤️❤️

That's the problem with brain injuries, they are invisible for the most part. It's hard for those who live with brain injuries to struggle daily with simple tasks, and no one ever knows. Thank you so much for watching and for your prayers!

27 year TBI survivor here from a bad car wreck 27 years ago... I was in the hospital for 26 days and Physical Therapy for 18 months... I struggle with Repeating Myself,Poor Multitasking,Poor Temper,Poor Short Term Memory etc... Post TBI I attempted and failed at several careers-( Special Education Teacher,Car Salesman,911 Radio Dispatcher)... A combination of TBI issues,PTSD issues and Career Failures led to increased Depression,Anxiety and Suicidal Thoughts... I FINALLY now have a somewhat decent quality of life ... I FINALLY received SSDI-( Social Security Disability Income ) after 15 years,4 appeals and 3 attorneys... I now drive for a Car Dealership and Build Model Cars as a hobby... These activities give my life meaning, help me deal with my TBI and PTSD issues, and improve my self esteem....

Wow! What a journey you have been on! I can't imagine all you have had to go through and I am so sorry for that. Brain injuries are so hard and can be so very frustrating especially when it comes to trying to complete what should be easy tasks that suddenly become huge obstacles. I can definitely relate to the failed jobs. The only reason I didn't actually "fail" my first was because my husband was my boss, and 98% of the time, we were the only ones there. He definitely realized how bad my memory and ability to learn new tasks, along with other issues, actually were. I definitely learned I cannot have a job that involves a cash register or any kind of counting for that matter. Numbers are no longer my friends lol. I am so glad that you were able to find something that you are able to do and that brings you joy. Thank you so much for sharing your story! I really appreciate you being here😉💜
