I played it with my friend all day yesterday, haven't had this much fun in a while. It's true that it can use a little more time in the oven but I can say for sure that IMO this game is already incredible.

It's a slippery slope allowing companies to release unfinished and/or broken games rather its Early Access or not. I have faith in them to deliver but I also understand anyone who would want a refund as it's in a state more close to beta or first demo.
At its core HLB is a good game, its got some input buffers and other bugs that make the game very frustrating but thats to be expected of an early access. Hope to see the game improve over time and see what it becomes

Aside from the obvious performance issues everyone is having I feel like the main issues with the actual gameplay is how hard it is to heal, constantly being locked in attack animations, and how frequent ambushes are. Like seriously, I get some with like 20 second breaks and then boom, another ambush
I like the game so far ❤ When HDL was still under development it looked so different from the final results and we all loved it! We just have to give HLB some time to be polished! ❤

I already love this game, even with the initial questionable design choices (mostly surrounding health mechanics). I’m drawn to this game. Already put in 7 hours.
I wish i actually could played it day 1, but the performance is so bad i can't even play it right now. Ik it's probably a good game fundamentally but i really hope they'll improve the performance soon or at least add more graphics options
played 6 hours of this game, and i feel robbed. ive been waiting for this game for years i was so hyped so happy, and within 3 hours my heart was already sinking into my stomach. going all the way down to 30 fps in some areas during fights, the clunkyness feeling of the combat, the janky hitboxes. Ive waited for this game for 2 years. ever since the first announcement. to me early access says to me "we have been developing a game, we are looking to full release, but we need to finish things up and get player feedback and input." youre telling me that i waited 2 years for the total crapshow of what we have here ? i played 6 hours by the way and i felt like i was playing a game that began development a couple months ago. had to request a refund but i know i wont get it. if i knew what my total experience would be before i paid, i wouldnt have paid. also forcing people who already own drifter into technically buying a second copy and not having a bundle-less variant to purchase early access hyperlight breaker is a very shady, sneaky and disgusting move to garuntee a cash grab. theyve just made a very easy 100k cash bucket. VERY easy money for them. and its disgusting. thats NOT how you gain a community for your game, thats how you get a large community to disrespect you as a game developer and your little passion project will die with no community to support it when you eventually make it playable. this wont be another No Mans Sky comeback.
You have no idea about game development process. Stay away from early access, don't do it to yourself, buy full releases and you will spare yourself unnecessary negative emotions and we won't have to read an absolute dumpster of a post. Educate yourself what exactly is Early Access, and how the process may vary from product to product. While some games will come out in EA basically like a full release (POE2, Hades), it's good for them but it absolutely should not be a standard, especially for relatively small studios that struggle with budget. Wish you a better gaming experience in your next title

theres so many issues with this game, but the core combat and movement is just so satisfying and fun
