Nice machine, with a dishwasher tablet and a maintenance wash i think it would come up nicely and seeing as its very new it would probably sell pretty quickly.
I tried to zoom in on the rating plate at the end, think it's only a 2020 machine. If 2nd 2 numbers are 20 then it's 2020. The ticking. I would open up the nut on both and just check, put them back on if no crack, as u say if it goes undetected it will go thru the whole chassis then no repair point. Cud be a squeek from one of the springs holding it up spray with a bit of wd40, be right as rain. All that machine needs is a clean and u will sell it no bother.
Thanks for the shout out. Top man Eoin,
It could be 2020, it is not old, I show the plate in more detail on the previous video.
You got nothing to worry about.
that ticking is the spring and shocks... they become less tight over time - and just wait the machine balancing the load.
defo have nothing to worry about .... worry when u start seeing the drum rubbing the door seal and leaving bits.. until then u have a normal machine :) take top off and just tighten the bolts on top :) and check the shocks but to me its completely normal
I'd say the ticking noise are definetely the shock absorbers. However as far as I know, it's quite common on these Hotpoints especially on the older models too as they are very well-known for their noisy or bouncy suspension. But I would still recommend checking the shock absorbers just in case just to be double sure 👍
Will do, in a future video.
The ticking on that Hotpoint is probably the shock absorbers but not totally sure but I know the noise because I own a old Hotpoint (a Ultima S-Line) and it does this ticking since day 1 that I own it
I have a similar machine. A good cycle is Synthetics with Rapid Option for 40c and 1000rpm. For 60c I think that will do Synthetics with Rapid option which is 1:30.
15:56 - the reason it was at 1000 only is because the rapid option limits the spin to 1000rpm. it also caps the temperature to 40°C, annoyingly.
So what is the max spin on this one?
1400rpm
My friend just got this but 8kg 1600 seems great! They managed to kill a bosch series 6 within 2 years and it never had mould!
The Smart tech generation were the ones going on fire but about dryers any condenser dryer can get on fire….heat pump are the best and also the safest and gentler on your clothes
I have a heat pump in the cellar and i like it.
Shock absorbers or suspensions making those ticking noises. It's quite normal if machine is some years old.
When you press rapid it's made for a smaller load and or light soil so that's why spin drops
Good to know, thanks!
@@bootsowen I'm curious if holding extra rinse button makes it go into auto clean mode or not since its changed to that for a few models now
Hi the clicking is where the machines case has cracked it’s nothing to worry about, also when u press rapid on the whites cycle it drops the temp to 40 and a 1000 spin.
But a crack in metal will only get bigger, the stress is infinite at the tip of a crack!
when our hotpoint broke back in april we was considering one of these but being honest with you these new hotpoints programming aren’t that great i don’t think. as the rapid option limits the spin and temp on some cycles which i just think is a bit stupid and the times aren’t exactly short at all (without the rapid option) the models before these (like i had it was a smart tech wmfug742) i prefer the cycles times on it wasn’t bad and did the job quite nicely when i had it. pleased we went with a samsung in the end the times on that are very good and often drops the time with a smaller load
I don't know if I would pay for a hotpoint/indesit
If your going to do a dishwasher tablet in it the machine has a outoclean feature power it on then press and hold the extra rinse button for about 6 seconds
I like the sound of this.
BootsOwen Stickers. !!!! ..... Collectors items already 😁
Legend has it they are being traded for bitcoin
to be honest, clean it up etc and sell it on ( you should do a auto clean) hold extra rinse and it will start it, and also the machine will reduce time on wash cycle so eg it says 2hrs but small load it will take 1hr 30 ish, but yes buying a fix kit would be a good idea. these are not the recalled machines (main way to know is if they have a black door lock like this one) / they have a instant unlock, i think if im coreect the door lock issues was caused by the door lock getting all the same power as the hating elemet which made it worse which has been sorted now, it was all machines from 2016-2017 ish. these are good machines, ive brought a 7kg one the other week, if you sold that youd easily get £70 from it rapid would of made it do 40 with a 1000 spin, synthetics rapid would of been better for temps up to 60 as it rapid lets you do 60 on that.
But what if I sell it and it breaks?
@@bootsowen that’s the only issue, however it’s a fairly new machine so no issues should be coming soon if you add the repair kit, I’ve sold loads of washers none have been sent back at all yet, when they are it’s either give them money back, swap their machine or don’t take a action since sometimes they incorrectly use them and break them ofc which is the users issue
Can you do a video on the machines in the in the cellar and also what detergent you're using at the moment
Some day, maybe for my next update video?
My HE7L492 does the same I think
Throw the machine on it’s side and check the places where the shocks are mounted to the housing. Sounds like it’s cracked there
Like others have said this is normal
Well while you were making that video, you were talking to yourself, but we were not watching.
Now we are watching, you have buggered off ha ha 😀
You could pull the back off the machine and eyeball around.
There is a sensor for the water level, maybe a tweak could make it put a few extra pints in.
Extra slosh :-D
I believe that these have a non adjustable pressureswitch
I could always add a few pints in the soap drawer.
@@bootsowen Well that would allow you to add more Two of hydrogen and One of Oxygen.
Im going mad :-D
Do a destruction video
of what?
