A more cursed All Stag Station category, the Stagless All Stag Station where you unlock A.S.S. but you can’t use the stags to travel.

Unfortunately that is technically impossible because you have to use a stag to get to stag nest, the last stag station in the game. Neat concept though
@@tricks1118 Actually, I think there's a really cursed pogo to get up there without it but it requires double jump and possibly other things... Time to add that and cdashless wings to the run lmao

Found your channel from Fireb0rn's video on the 0 Geo run (which was amazing, by the way; awesome work), and it was a super weird whiplash to go from that to hearing you talk about how central Geo is to this run lol. I imagine it must be nice to be able to play the game normally again! Or semi-normally, in the case of this run. Cheers!

For the hidden station I have a way to theoretically get to the hidden station without wing and with all your geo by first doing the shade fire ball skip traversing through the palace grounds and in the stag station next bench go all the way back to get your shade quit and return and voila. This is definitely slower, but definitely easier

Nice run. I've legit never been to do those jumps on the sides of platforms. To perform them, do you just have to jump immediately after touching the wall or is there some trick to do it?
it's just a normal wall jump but more precise
now to redo it with the new fireball skip

But for the ancient bassin shade skip can't you just get the pogo then bench on the stag station cause it's a free bench, get you shade and safe quit back to the stag? In the force case scenario I think
Yep! But it’s much much slower (loses 40ish seconds because you have to dash back and forth) and therefore not viable for the WR level runs of the category.
Blue, love your videos! I have a question about this run, though. Why is it necessary to kill the shade simultaneously while doing the shade skip into hidden station stag? I know that you need the shade's money to buy the stag, but couldn't you have done a different strategy with less risk? For example, pogo the shade's vengeful spirit into the hidden stag station. Then, bench at the hidden stag station, go left, fall down into ancient basin again, kill your shade, then quit out. You'll have your shade now at the hidden stag station with all of your money to buy the stag station now, with less of a hassle and less RNG. Why wouldn't that have worked instead? I'm just trying to understand lol
That works as well! It’s just a matter of speed and optimisation, since doing what you described is really slow. The strat i do is harder, but would save like 30 seconds over that

Ah, it's about the time save. Makes sense. But simultaneously, if you fail the shade kill/soul pogo, it's a restart, right? So I guess having a safer run could make it more accessible to some people. Not that I have any speed run plans any time soon XD thanks for answering!
To get hidden station stag couldn’t you use the skip used in low% te to not get wings.
I know this was probably posted before that was found out but wondering if it is in the new route.

Wait, maybe I'm dumb, but is the path the queens gardens above the mask maker's room always open? I thought you needed to open that up from the queens gardens area?
there is a plank that you can hit from either side, as opposed to one of the breakable walls. It looks more closed off due to the camera hiding off the secret entry until you find it!

Yeah, that's what I thought too, for a while. Then, one day, I see a comment casually mentionning how they always enter queen's garden that way. I didn't believe them, but then I tried it out myself on my most recent playthrought...and sure enought, you can do that. This game just has so many sequence breaks-if that one can even be counted as a sequence break and not just an alternate way lol.

Today when I walked into my economics class I saw something I dread every time I close my eyes. Someone had brought their new gaming laptop to class. The Forklift he used to bring it was still running idle at the back. I started sweating as I sat down and gazed over at the 700lb beast that was his laptop. He had already reinforced his desk with steel support beams and was in the process of finding an outlet for a power cable thicker than Amy Schumer's thigh. I start shaking. I keep telling myself I'm going to be alright and that there's nothing to worry about. He somehow finds a fucking outlet. Tears are running down my cheeks as I send my last texts to my family saying I love them. The teacher starts the lecture, and the student turns his laptop on. The colored lights on his RGB Backlit keyboard flare to life like a nuclear flash, and a deep humming fills my ears and shakes my very soul. The entire city power grid goes dark. The classroom begins to shake as the massive fans begin to spin. In mere seconds my world has gone from vibrant life, to a dark, earth shattering void where my body is getting torn apart by the 150mph gale force winds and the 500 decibel groan of the cooling fans. As my body finally surrenders, I weep, as my school and my city go under. I fucking hate gaming laptops.

Nope, the sign breaks and does not give you any vertical pogo momentum when downslashed
just a question how do you get to the elevator that leads to right city from the resting grounds stag?
It's in the catacombs area. The rightmost tomb at the bottom of the resting grounds can be broken with dive.

@@novaminerr66 as far as I know, right city is only connected to the catacombs and to kingdom's edge - which I'm pretty sure you can only access through right city. Just get dive.

@@BlueSR ah alright. I was wondering because of the use of fast drop. Correct me if I am wrong, but on current patch, I think that fast drop isn't possible. Still, that was a very good Video!
@@someguywithatophat7599 inventory drops are still possible on Current Patch, although very restricted! you cannot open the inventory in mid-air anymore, so you instead need to open your menu on the same physics frame (1/50th of a second) as you step off a platform.
