I like to think that 2:22 is you stepping into a portal. You teleport back into your childhood. The melodies become clearer as the theme continues, unveiling that certain happiness you once knew. As the song ends, you open your eyes. You're back in present day. You step outside. The sound of childhood is distant, as it happened long ago, but it has not been forgotten.
With that idea in mind, I feel as though the deeper you walk into The Gardens portal, the stronger your emotions feel. Bringing back that childhood feeling which was lost over time.
aw thats such a pretty concept, I like to imagine my nostalgia, not as the past behind me, but as a potential for the future ahead of me, what's gone is never forgotten after all.
The tune that started my unforgettable adventure where I took a stroll through the gardens, see the beauty of the Savanah, resurrect a dying wedding, bring justice to mexico, help a mechanic in the big apple, refine my movement in Japan, dance with the dancers in India to finally befrieding the Collector in Russia. Where no one should be alone instead, we should share our creations and grow together.
anyone remember that one tropical island map that gad you go through the ocean and sleep in an island home and fight sharks and bungee jump and all that stuff? because i've forgotten the name, and me and my brother would always go to that specific level all the time. replaying it over and over and never getting tired of it. this is completely unrelated to the video, but still. i miss it and i can't for the life of me recall the name of that level.
Finallyyyyyy! :D Ok, I'm ready to cry with this one... :') I have always thought that listening to nostalgic music is probably the closest thing we have to time travel, thank you again for doing this! ^^
man i love littlebigplanet. i remember playing this beautiful game when i was 6 and i enjoyed every second of it. except the metal gear solid dlc or levels whatever it was lol those levels made me rage and wanna break my controller.
I just love the nostalgia about this one... its super strong also I might be really weird but I found this track a little creepy for some reason (maybie it was how all the houses and characters were carboard and stuff and plus the entire gardens are just gardens, I kinda see it similar to "Backrooms". I know its sounds stupid its just hard to explain)
My favourite part of this song was always the horns section. That's the first place I'd go every single time I was using this soundfont/song in my levels. I love the quiet, ambient, early morning sound you get with it. Like the world itself is waking up and yawning. It holds a very special place for me. I'm glad you uploaded these mixes that unfurl the songs slowly like this.
this song reminds me of my childhood when I still had my dad and he was the one who brought me this game and I spent hours on that game then my playstation stopped working my dad went to buy a new one and continued then few months later my dad ends up in the hospital and passes away and now I can barely play the game remembering the memories I had fun when my dad was there I still need to beat the game again but I can’t without remembering him and then crying in tears
*During Lbp1's Development* Media Molecule: We just want some silly music for a silly little kids game, it doesn't have to be anything too catchy Kenneth Young and Daniel Pemberton: SORRY! WE CAN'T HEAR YOU OVER THE ABSOLUTE BANGERS WE'RE MAKING!
littlebigplanet is the most nostalgia game and the littlebigplanet songs thay are soooo nostalgia i can not stop crying of joy littlebigplanet is the bast game ever made in this World it jast nostalgia🙂
I wanna go back I wanna go back I wanna go back I wanna go back I wanna go back I wanna go back I wanna go back I wanna go back I wanna go back I wanna go back I wanna go back I wanna go back I wanna go back I wanna go back I wanna go back I wanna go back I wanna go back I wanna go back I wanna go back I wanna go back I wanna go back I wanna go back I wanna go back I wanna go back I wanna go back I wanna go back I wanna go back I wanna go back I wanna go back I wanna go back I wanna go back I wanna go back I wanna go back I wanna go back I wanna go back I wanna go back I wanna go back I wanna go back I wanna go back I wanna go back I wanna go back I wanna go back I wanna go back I wanna go back I wanna go back I wanna go back I wanna go back I wanna go back I wanna go back I wanna go back I wanna go back I wanna go back I wanna go back I wanna go back I wanna go back I wanna go back I wanna go back I wanna go back I wanna go back I wanna go back I wanna go back I wanna go back I wanna go back I wanna go back I wanna go back
One can say, "Little Big Planet is a childrens game, there is no skill in it what-so-ever" its because they never experienced what this game was about and its meaning behind it, the game teaches sharing, bonding, teamwork, physics, creativity, what a memorable game is and even if we don't get any new Little Big Planet games, we can still remember everything it had given us, no matter what, and if we could re-experience it all, it would all be a amazing experience just like last time

I enjoyed reading that, thanks for commenting that it made me think how much memories this game really made for me and probably others
bringing justice to mexico by blowing up an entire city?
Interesting
Waiting for that whistle to finally chime in was like the longest edge ever
The opposite of "Everywhere At The End Of Time", calling it "Everywhere At The Beginning Of Time", depicting childhood innocence and nostalgia
Instead of distorting as it goes on, the track even gets clearer as it continues.
if I was asked what childhood sounds like to me, then I would just turn on this video :D
Nostalgia doesn’t even begin to explain it

The Gardens theme just brings me back to 2011 honestly, when my cousin and I played LBP all summer long. What amazing memories.

This is 99% of my childhood...
This game defined my childhood, and for that, this track will forever remain special. Its surprisingly layered as well, as this video shows.

my only critique is that for me, the flute should start in a more full part of the song. it sounded kind of lonely when it first showed up
