I consider myself incredibly lucky to be born at a time where these games were virtually my childhood. I love this series so much. Listening to this soundtrack even makes me tear up a bit sometimes. Thank you MM.
I cry too friend. Thank you mm.
same
Thank you MM for our childhood. ❤❤
The golden years are behind us it seems my friend 😂🥲
Relatable on a whole other level 😢 started playing lbp when I was 8 back in 2010 and unknowingly played lbp2 for the very last time when I was 19 in 2021 💔
Me and the boys/girls when the gardens starts playing:
@TheEscaleraRex Como tan muchacho
Whenever someone says about any new game “this is the best game I played in my life” I immediately remember lbp and it’s a“you just had to be there” moment.
I spent an absurd amount of hours in these games.
I feel the weight of melancholic nostalgia heavily.
Hearing these tunes again, makes me realize how much time has expired since I first got my ps3.
Nonetheless, its comforting to know there are others that also share these wonderful memories.
It is comforting to know that I'm not alone to have this experience. Truly something special to be treasured for ♥️
Exactely the same.
Honestly I think I spent the best days of my life ever just playing Little Big Planet as a 7 year old until I was 11 and then I kind of felt like there was nothing to do after that and just stopped playing sadly, but then one day my older brother just randomly decided to play with me and we played for 3 days for at least 5 or 7 hours every day those 3 days. Also this year for my fifteenth birthday I just played LBP 3 and all the old level for 6 hours straight until I thought I should probably go outside and stop sitting inside.. I just went back onto LBP 3 and played more new and some really old levels that I will always remember playing, that day and when I was young, close and very deeply to my heart.
ily man
Yea I thought I was the only one
How tf am I supposed to study when this music is getting me crying from nostalgia
Crying is part of the process 😩
My childhood was largely unpleasant but this game was always there at my worst to make me feel my best, thanks everyone who was a part of this
Agree bestie,,, agree.
Me three
Recently got a ps3 to go back and play my old levels…
I broke in tears listening to The Pod and The Gardens
Thank you for this video
Same
same here
Almost same, I got chills and stared off into the distance as I we reunited with these tunes.
hours of AFKing in the pod between levels because I forgot the console was on has honestly cemented the pod theme in my head as the default background noise to my brain whenever I space out
this pod song makes me the saddest because of nostalgia :") I really need to replay lbp1
I used to have it for the ps3 and always had fun with my dad and later a few years it stopped working and we had to throw it away. And I lost the gane somewhere, I have the PS4 but I still want the 3 to replay.
@@lightningdude4205 hi lightning dude, this is crazy because same thing happened to me, i played with my brother sister and dad for a couple years then my ps3 stopped working!
I recently booted up my LBP1 & the audio on the game wasn’t working, tried rebooting again and again but no avail. Any suggestions or similar experiences?:/
@@lightningdude4205 my ps3 stopped working 1 week ago, i found out about it when i had a urge to play all the lbp games again, ive always enjoyed them since i was very young, but hopefully it has a happy ending since my dad found a company that can fix our ps3 instead of us having to get a ps4 or ps5, so i can still play lbp, 2, and 3 hopefully
@@fent69nyl nice, mine stopped working because we kept it on when we stopped playing. We did it if we had something to do fast and so we don’t lose our progress. We sadly couldn’t find anyone who can fix it, so we had to throw it away.
I don’t know why but playing this game in the early morning just hits different.
For real!
TRUEEE
Early morning back in the day used to have such a nice vibe to it.. i think mornings started to become meaningless or like less impactful than when we were children
@@itsgamingmoonlight3400 tell me about it
when the pod music started kicking in around 1:00 it almost made me cry
my favorite childhood game the music from lbp 1&2 will never get old
My childhood wasnt the best. But i thank God for LBP, it was the most innocent part of growing up.
I love this. LBP OST is truly one of the best.
Agreed love the lbp games
that's facts, the devs definitely have some taste of music, every track they choose/make is a banger
@@NoobWrld Very very true
I just want to say this Man loves Little Big Planet so much that his youtuber profile picture is litterly a sack boy in a banana costume, like how did no one else mention that in the comments to his comment? 😅😅 The best part of my life will Always be playing Little Big Planet All day and night. ☺☺
No mid roll ads either?
Ooh this is truly brilliant
Oh my gosh that's true I never even realized. Bytheway LoL this game is the definition of my childhood
I remember being excited for the new versions of lbp coming out as a kid. I screamed when I saw them on the shelves and we got them pretty much immediately. I miss lbp and for those of you where we’re my friends on that platform whether we know it or not I love you, take care.
Oh my gosh thank you so much for the really kind message at the end you too🥲🥲 We all love you too because you love Little Big Planet LBP for live 😌😌😌😌
The wilderness is the best one for me as it calming and exciting at the same time
That God damn wheel.
@@gorageelsewhere1946 The Forbidden *Wheel of Death*
The one thing my parents did that positively impacted me and my brother was hook us on Little Big Planet. LBP is a very nostalgic and comforting game to me, I can’t get over how everything ended so suddenly. I lost my main account and all of my friends for so long and it makes me so sad. Hearing any sort of LBP SFX or music just makes me so sad yet so calm. I remember begging my parents for LBP2, then LBP3, then Karting and so forth. I am not ashamed to say I grew up solely on LBP and I’m not ashamed of all the hours I spent putting stickers on sackbots to make each and every costume of mine absolutely perfect. Media Molocule made LBP, and LBP made me. This is one of the last things I have to hang on to, this is one of the last strings of happy memories I have left and I don’t want to lose them.
"The Wedding" for sleeping and relax? lmao. This was way to stressful in the game. But I really enjoyed the garden and savannah.
I tried lol 😭
I dont think there will ever be a game quite as special and close to my heart as LBP is. My first ever PS3 game back in 2011 and the hours I put into it with friends, families, people online, is absurd. Waiting for LBP2 to release was literally waiting for a new chapter in my life, LBP2 was everything a sequel should be and so, so much more. I played for So long for so many years and it really breaks my heart that kids wont ever get to experience LBP the same way anymore now that all the official servers are gone. There's a video I've been writing since I was like 16 documenting the community behind LBP1 and 2, my experience with the games, and just really going into how special these games are, and how these games raised me and took care of me when my parents wouldn't. I miss these days, one day I'll put out that big mega video that I've been writing for over 7 years now and I hope that everyone who grew up with LBP, and even people who never played it watch it. I wanna do the games justice and really go into what makes them so wonderful and special.
These games inspired me to be silly, creative, and just have fun with literally anything that came to mind. And see, THIS is why you need to put so much care and quality into games, even if they're mainly aimed towards kids, because it sticks with them Forever, I know it'll stick with me til the day I die.
Be on the lookout for my ultimate LBP video that I'll put out one day, maybe if by some strange coincidence we encountered each other or were friends back in the day, maybe you'll see yourself mentioned in there.
This is like the worst study and relax playlist ever because I can't stop crying
It’s all good to, just go play dreams and become a game dev
Damn I just want to go back in time so I can experience this again
bro lbp music has no right to go as hard as it does, i've literally never heard anything else quite like it before!!
i love these games so much
I was trying to fall asleep to this. But I woke up immediately when garden music started! Nostalgia filled my soul
i love how every lbp game has amazing tracks, i wish they remastered the game that would be amazing, i'll never give up on the game that made my childhood. (Sorry, with remastered i ment that i wish they would make a new lbp for others to enjoy (including myself) )
too perfect to have a remaster
It doesn't need a remaster, the game its self, the charm, was perfect. Nothing needs to be changed there
theyre making a similar game called "restitched" it looks really good!😊
not the same people@@rosewishes2232
I listen to this religiously at this point. Studying, going to sleep. Its just a banger man.
Good!! I'm glad you like it!
@@faith4disney I just spent the past 30 minutes looking up the Morse Code decoding in the pod music…
This game needs to make a comeback for PS5 and PC somehow
you can play it on PC with a ps3 emulator called RPCS3. I play all the LBPs all the time, still has active servers w/ other players.
Hell yeah! The perfect compilation to listen to when completing long projects or simply vibe to.
Very, very true, I am about to do like 5 assignments I haven't completed yet.
This game has such a special place in my heart, and i’m really gonna miss playing the online levels in lbp 1
lbp1 was definitely the best of the lbp games in my opinion, i know the others had a more detailed story and more things in create mode, but lbp1 had this charm to it that no other game could ever recreate
the pod music is what really does it for me
I recently started a venture to replay all if the little big planet games (including the third! That one always held a special place in my heart and I was never able to find out why) and to end it off with a blind playthrough of Sackboy a Big Adventure. All I can say is that I was not disappointed. So many buried childhood memories and feelings returned almost instantly and they've been sticking with me since. My copy of Sackboy a Big Adventure is arriving in the mail this week and I'm so happy I made this challenge for myself (even though the wheel of death from the first game can burn in the deepest pits of heck for all I care XD).
I would love to do the same, I never played little big planet 2 when I was young but re played 1 and 3 religiously. The music hits home with everyone, sadly my friends all played Xbox so they have no idea what I’m talking about and they missed out
LoL that last part, but how is Little Big Planet: AA big Adventure? I think I might get it if it didn't change LBP forever like every new version of an old game that used to be good
@@dryfish8337 Damm Man they really, really missed out, I just realized how lucky I was to have a best friend with an xbox while I had a ps3 and I mean this man had an xbox the original xbox.... He has them all except X box series because he had to use that money for college and not gaming.
Just replayed lbp 1 on my ps3 it saddens me I have no one to to the multiplayer prize things :(
I couldn't have asked for a better childhood fr...
Definitely deserves more likes
Also really early and first :)
RIP LBP.
It's sad for the regular creators who still have LBP3 and who are still releasing levels. I'm currently releasing levels but they usually go unnoticed even though I consider mine to be better than most MM featured levels. It's crazy how wonderful works of arts can quickly go unnoticed in LBP3 since no one plays it anymore.
I reasonably think that Sackboy's Big Adventure was the final blow. They completely took out the Create and Share aspect of what made LittleBigPlanet win GOTY and now it's gone forever.
Let’s not forget the bumpy start with the servers on LBP 3. I was so upset lmao and I wish media molecule takes it back soon.
sackboy a big adventure was awesome but it would've genuinely been perfect if it had the game editor, but if they would do this in a future lbp game and combine it with the other editors like lbp 4 that would be awesome
Seriously. You just unlocked a memory of nostalgia on a whole new level when the melody kicked in. Oh my good. So many fun memories back then when I was kid. Thank you.
See you EVERYWHERE lol
this playlist brought me a lot of precious memories and good feelings. this is pure nostalgia! i wish i could back to those gold times when i played LBP with my friend on holidays... what a wonderful time!
LBP will always be in my heart :)
My heart too, till the day I die and maybe I'll just marry LBP instead of a human... not trying to sound weird but all the community levels are just so good I could play them forever. I will start my homework now so when I actually get home I can play LBP becuase I finished all my work for a class and just commenting on comments.
The vibe this game had was something I'll never forget and was once in a lifetime. This mix just brings that vibe out perfectly. (Also hi I'm back again!!!)
i miss this game so much, interacting with people and making so many friends. even when little big planet was still running before its server shutdown, i still managed to make some good friends to play games with. but then they eventually just disappeared for months and never hopped on. it's kind of basically just reliving how it was back then. i just wish i could go back, i've seriously been playing little big planet throughout my ENTIRE childhood and knowing how fast it died out over the years just makes me sad because it only felt like you made so little yet so much memories as the years go on. i know it's been a decade but i will never forget how much this little game about a sackboy going on an adventure around the world changed my life. and i hope that in another life, i get to experience this game over and over again.
Been listening to this a lot at work, reminds me of my childhood that I wish I could go back to, brilliant mix
The gardens omfgggg. I LOVE YOU FOR MAKING THISSSSSSS. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOUUUU AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH IM SO IN LOVE WITH LBP MUSIC ITS JUST SO COMFORTING, its like an angel giving you kisses, or like your mother rocking you in her arms, im SORRY lbp is just a huge part of my childhood and this music is making me SO HAPPPY
Official soundtrack of my whole childhood. Amazing times were had playing LBP1+2. Glad I got to experience them.
all the memories flowing in my head because of this game 🥺
When I was kid i used to have soooo much fun with this game with my friend we would find random people get them in our pod and go to a specific platformer that started with a big jump, one of us would hold the random down and the other would get to the other side and once they were in position you let the random start and the other just slap them off at the edge 🤣
I love the aesthetic visuals you put in each soundtrack i love you omg😍
✨The PlayStation fans sounding in the background ✨
Holy shit I don't remember the Wedding being so good with the distorted bass and even a solo
I can't study to this. I get too emotional.
Love you, Little Big Planet. I really, really hope those games get ported to Steam some day.
The Canyon's Guitar is so good and groovy
THANK YOU for uploading this. I've been listening to the soundtrack for a while now, but haven't found the interactive music yet. Maybe I just haven't been looking, but this popped up in my recommended at the perfect moment. Thanks for the study music.
Also, the wedding music reminded me of how freaked out I used to be of the darkness level as a kid. That whole level map scared me-I was a very sensitive kid lol.
The background video looks like what the view from the pod would be so the first song really fits
Yeah listening to metropolis as a kid probably made me like deep house and 90’s house crazy how little things affect how u develop
Piece by piece, I'll pick apart the wedding solos and learn how to play them
Post a recording on youtube if you do, I'd love to hear it.
I miss this so much, the gardens gave me so many memories
Don't be sad because it's over. smile because it happened. we will always play create and share the joy.
It stinks to think that there might never be another game series like Little Big Planet. Game consoles are generally losing their importance, Dreams is struggling, and it's hard to accept, but the world is a different place from now. There's still a market for games about community created content, but I don't know if anyone can really capture the essence of LBP again.
What makes lbp an amazing game for me is the fact that we don't usually get games like this. There was literally no end to lbp as new levels were being published everyday and each and every one of them had something amazing to bring. Lbp was my childhood and I will miss it.
lbp, literally my biggest childhood memory, i still treasure it and it still brings me my biggest comforts. I enjoy all the happy memories i have made on lbp, expressing myself through my levels and creations. just truly an amazing game all around. Im so beyond upset lbp 1 & 2 are gone from the online platform, but i still enjoy them. Meeting big creators, devs and admins, truly an amazing experience. Thank you sm lbp for being my escape for so many years now.
The first LBP game I played was the first one and I loved it. My dad didn’t so much because he found it difficult but I thought that was exactly what made it good. Not the easiest levels, secrets, and you have to love the fun parts and mini games that are there too. He said that I could get the second one if I finished the first and it was so fun. After I did he played the second with me and it was the best. He fell in love with it like I had. Then my sister and my mum a bit too. The games are still and will always be some of my best memories and I wish I could go back to that time. But I can’t. I just hope that I can make more of those brilliant memories, despite the games being seemingly over now with SABA and knowing the sad truth that there may never be a game with the same aspects that made it so brilliant that people are literally commenting their own LBP stories in the comments of an OST video. But we need to smile that it happened and move on. We need to enjoy life and whenever someone mentions LBP we can remember the wonderful memories. At least all our memories will be here and will never die. 😊
canyons/gardens gotta be the best soundtracks
I just realized the year I played LBP was in 2015. I checked back on the ps3 to see the day we downloaded LBP. At that time LBP2 and 3 were already out! I played that game after it was 7 years old, and now, about 7 years later, the severs have been dead for a year. And it stinks because at that time I wasn't allowed to play online (also due to the fact it was a pain to sign into the Playstation to play online lol) so I never really got to experience the LBP community, or even play community levels. I remember playing only one community level that I think was a bad and very fiery recreation of The Temples. I had no clue what I was even doing in it 😂.
I didn't even know what the My Moon was for until I had played the game for a couple years. There was so much more to LBP that I never got to experience :/.
But, idk, I heard the community kinda went downhill through the years and idek if that many people were playing LBP1 in 2015. At least I got to enjoy the story mode, just wish I could've appreciated the game more during that time.
Not sure why I felt so compelled to write my LBP life story, but, uh, here it is.
I just recently (and by recently I mean like a month and a half ago lol) got back into LBP, the music at least, bc I started humming it in my head and decided to look it up. I'm so glad I did, this game has an awesome soundtrack.
Recently i've bought an used ps3 slim (160gb model) and LBP 1 and 2 and i felt all the nostalgia from when i was nine.
Still searchin' for Karting and the third one as well.
the flute goes unreasonably hard in the gardens. thank u for making this
Woah, what? I thought I heard this mix before, but I am listening to the temple version right now and it's absolutely fire
so many memories, i will miss the online servers, never stopped playing since 1.
I can’t explain how nostalgic I feel. It is such a happy but also slightly sad feeling.
Honestly the Pod and the Gardens are the best two
Anytime i hear the theme for the metropolis i cant help but just 💃 idk it's so groovy and the association w Mags makes it 10x better :"D
I'm never gonna see the old community options again...
:( i feel the same way its ripping my heart up
So many Memories :)
Deserves more views for the amount of effort put in
Eh, it was posted rather reicently. give it some time, it'll grow
Gotta love how in true interactive music fashion; more instruments join in as time goes on.
.
Beautiful mix and I appreciate the amount of time this must have taken.
.
Top tier
Man what a game :') Just a game that hit on all fronts, gameplay, creativity, community, art direction, music.
I think the gardens theme is the most nostalgiac for me because I spent the most time with it. Spent so long with the levels because I'd keep using R2 instead of R1 for grabbing stuff. Good times.
damn
both lbp1 and 2 give me so much nostalgia
this music has me crying man qwq
and just like that its all gone
tysm for uploading this omg i miss this game so much... so much that i cried while listening to the garden music !
Lbp for ever
I always loved the metropolis with the mechanic.
I love this game so much, it fueled most of my childhood and creativity. ❤
I spent a lot of my parents money & put hours into this game as a kid. Hands down best game ever for me. The soundtracks are great for background music.
This goes hard might use it in the gym
I remember Sony getting hacked and that the playstation network would be down for a couple of days. As a sorry gift we got to pick out 2 games of a selected list. I picked Infamous and LittleBigPlanet. And holy were those two games a huge part of my childhood. Never missed a LittleBigPlanet after that. They will forever be my favorite games, nothing can top the huge amounts of enjoyment and creativity these games have awoken in me as a kid.
I didn't appreciate these songs back then. All of them are bangers, damn
BRING THIS GAME TO COMPUTER !!!
Hey y'all i can use prayers for my daughters that we shared and grew up on this
The Beginning of the gardens theme made me want to cry…
Thanks for all the great memories lbp1 and lbp2 :_)
its so sweet to see that other people had this game in a close spot in their hearts too. This also takes me back to the part in my life where things were simpler. How wonderful it is that this game's music can make us all reflect on our childhoods in a nostalgic way. Wonderful game.
Thank you for the music, this is so awesome!! It is so nice to see we share the same nostalgia from LBP and love the music from it. The music brings back good memories, and hopefully will create new ones. The music from the franchise has to be one of the best aspects of the game (especially LBP1), so this is greatly appreciated, thank you :D
I am moving to tears i miss lbp and my old friends also love the comments WE ALL LOVE AND MISS THIS MASTER PIECE T^T
that flute killed it on garden tho
I have every game from lbp its been that one series that I will always come back to this gives me nostalgia thank you lbp for the fun times..
Oh my god The gardens It's a reaaaaaaaally nostalgic song
this mix really making my life flash before my eyes
listening to the pod song and so many memories rush back from your childhood at once
Legit cried inside the SECOND it started playing
The nostalgia 🥲
I remember back in the day when i was a kid my cousins played lbp i fell in love with it so i asked my dad to buy me a ps3 and i was praying SO MUCH to have lbp as a manual memory card game and i was so happy to see it. Lbp 2 came out i took that aswell and bro i dont even know how much time did i spend on the game but i can say it was a long 10 year journey i miss my childhood game non of my cousins play it anymore💔🙁 rip lbp
In the wedding it isn't a graveyard anymore it's a raveyard
this made me cry. I love little big planet
The island music is so calming, I remember playing house levels and hearing the music and just being calm 😢
LittleBigPlanet is a masterpiece of playstation exclusive and of the video games
Ahhhh the memories I made with this game. I miss it so much, and still love it to this day. I always listen to the ost when I’m in a rough patch so having it be here is so perfect
