This was a fantastic tutorial. I have just got this machine and was feeling a bit overwhelmed with all the functions. Thank you for a great tutorial. It would be great if you showed what can be done with the foot pedal and knee lift settings too. There are very few tutorials for this machine and none are as in depth as this. Even Janome doesn’t have a decent tutorial, everyone seems to be concentrating on the M8.

What is the other accufeed foot for? It looks like a 1/4 inch foot but it has to be attached like the wide accufeed foot you demonstrated.

It is like a even feed foot for sewing several layers together so they don't bunch up.

@@alwaysinstitches5388 do you select accufeed on the touchscreen? If so, I don’t know how to do that. It’s greyed out when I have that foot on.

Thank you for this. I'm still learning my machine,so much,it is overwhelming sometimes. BTW ,I was brushing out the bobbin case,saw that dot in the bottom was trying to get it out,you stopped me!!! I think I will experiment with the screen and different stiches. My manual has tab post-its on the things that I need reminders on.
I ❤ this machine. I am looking forward to learning more of what it can do.

Thank you so much of the tutorial, I really enjoyed it. I’m currently saving up for this machine because I’m going to get into quilting. I am still using my Janome MC 4000 I think it’s 25 years old now and still going strong.
