45 years ago…..stands up to the years better than a lot of their contemporaries.all Steve albinis bands were so influenced by them.
I don't know why UA-cam recommended this as I've never listened to anything like this in my life let alone on here. But it rocked. Hell yes.
Ned from Spain here to say D Boon, George Hurley and Mike Watt changed what it meant to be a punk / hardcore band. DIY on another level, educated and aware plus humor, just legendary. These are tight, to the point, brilliantly performed 30 second shards of furious genius. A true tragedy that D Boon died so young. Raymond Pettibon's art always amazes me. My interpretation is when the Chinese Commies take over Hollywood, beware pretty Capitalist cowgirl !!

Technically, it's an e.p., and was originally released as a seven inch record. (I know people who have original copies.) Nonetheless, THE MINUTEMEN ROCK! Pretty good for their debut.

Very talented & powerful three piece with a sound all their own (Love Watt on bass, always kills it!). Tragic that D Boone died so young, it would've been interesting to hear the band's future direction.
The music's so good, I can overlook Boone's shitty politics.
