These are made for professional electrical use where all the gaps and distances are in place beforehand. We have two of these sets as building Nodes with batteries and wires in complicated spaces is where these bad boys come in to do the job we are supposed to do. It’s not really for DIYers but hey if you like them, by all means go ahead and purchase them. Use them wisely. ✌️

Nice video..this kind of tools is very common here in europe for linemen or grid-service, even in industrial environments. The normal voltage here is 400V on 3 phases, and if there is to add or to remove a cable from a house connection, it is be done under live current. They don't shut down a dozend of households to add a new cable, and if you short the lines with normal tools in a low-Z-Grid..no fuse is blowin up. You can find this type of sets from Knipex, Cimco, Gedore etc. But they are all very expensive.

I just bought the ratchet. Unless your working inside live circuits ( which you almost never do unless you’re a linesman...the insulated ratchet is enough with regular sockets and you save hundreds doing it that way. I specifically got it for battery terminal removals where the last guy set it up with no thought to shorting with a tool and for the rare time I tie I to a live transfer switch (with my arc flash and 10000 vac gloves. Just so I don’t risk dead shorting something. I saw no point in the insulated sockets as the metal socket is exposed on either end.

I just finished my first lithium battery pack build. Turns out I fumbled far more than I imagined I would. My next build will include insulated tools and the search for them is what brought me to this video. I just put a 28 piece set of insulated tools in my Amazon cart made by Dynamic.

I'm going to be honest here for all the money you spend on tools and the huge number of subscriber,s you very often don't know what you are talking about LOL. It's still useful to get to see the tools live as opposed to a static photo but your lack of expertise is bafflingly low considering your investment in time, money and this channel.
