I want a thicker iPhone one that makes the back flush with the cameras and lets us have a proper sized battery very badly. I don't mind the extra some odd millimeters in thickness. I'll get used to it in no time.
I’m very curious if Apple would ever do this. There must be a reason they haven’t. They do tons of usability studies and research so my gut is telling me while some people would LOVE this, the majority don’t need it and want something light and comfortable to hold.
No you don’t. At that size it’ll feel good for a few weeks but then it’ll just fan hassle to carry around. Increased thickness equals an increased weight. The phone will be uncomfortable to use for long stretches of time. Completely the negating the battery improvements
@@Vedrajrm lol no it won't I carried my past Iphone xr in an OtterBox defender which was like 15mm thick but I learned to be more careful so I use a slim case now. An 11mm thick iphone with no bump with a 3mm slim rubber case is no issue. I can understand what you're coming from when it comes to the plus iPhones but I like to use the smaller ones and I'm 6'1 and my hands reflect that but even if I was shorter like 5'5 with smaller hands a slightly thicker small iPhone is still not going to be an issue but I would love the battery life and that would make me always forgive the extra millimeters.
Last year they were talking about iPhone 16 before the 15 was out. And the year before the 15 before the 14 was out. Welcome to the Apple News world lol. I think brands are starting this new categories of phones, like fashion phones or something like that, where the specs don’t really matter. We can apply this for flips as well.
iPhone already has all the power it needs to process everything and every kind of app and game there is. We don't need more power. A redesign for me personally is a quadrillion times more desirable.
Apple is obsessed with making devices slim, which is a feature that no one wants. I understand that i7 MacBook's sometimes failed due to overheating because the cooling in a slim MacBook was not good enough to cool an i7. I hope that the unnecessarily shrunk M4 Mac Minis will not overheat. 17 slim will be called 17 air and it shouldn't even be close to a grand, never mind 1400. It's not going to have the best chip, or specs. So it makes no sense for it to cost more than the pros. It's a direct plus model replacement, but thinner

We've had a pretty good track record. And as you can see in the video, these come from multiple very credible sources such as Ming Chi Kuo. Kuo is almost always right, though they're more an analyst than a "leaker."
I mean, we're always going to cover the news. That's just part of an Apple tech publication. Tips/tricks, reviews, and news are kind of the core pillars! Some people don't like rumors others do, but stuff like this takes considerable effort, data from multiple sources, and creating these renders in house to match up with what the sources are saying.
Not at all. The iPhone SE has always used a design from several generations before, plus an older processor. That's how they make it affordable by recycling components and designs. It's unheard of for Apple to introduce a wholly new design for a budget phone.

I rather have a better battery then a thinner phone
Maybe a folding phone? Could make sense why it’s so expensive, why it’s using the base processor chip, and using just one singular camera???
singular camera probably just IPhone SE
