There are no different TVA, the TVA exists outside of time ,so there can't be a divergent timeline of TVA cause TVA doesn't reside in a timeline, basically Real Kang has been unleashed and he has reset the TVA, there is no alternate TVA
OOOH I like this. I was wondering what was happening to the TVA and why B-15 and Mobius didn't know Loki.
Surely for this timeline. But there are multiple Kangs and for those multiple universal timelines, every Kang must have made their own TVA, just like Kang explained that they all learned together from 31st century.
Kang showed how the Kang variants use to interact, which is by that timepad device. And Sylvie did used a timepad to send Loki back to the TVA, but the timepad was of Kang's and his timepad looked different. Surely his timepad must have access to other alternate timelines as his timepad is at the end of time where it goes beyond the control of TVA. Hence he could create a portal to walk in through to other alternate times. So Loki must be in a timeline where Kang didn't had to put up that fake 3 timekeeper's image. As in his timeline, the present Kang would have done that only to lay the path for Sylvie and Loki to get to him, like he said.
Inshort, this is mind explosive thing. LOL!

With the exception of the Snap this might be the single most monumental event to affect the entire MCU.

So great that you pointed out Tom Hiddlestons performance and the part where he says "No." when Sylvie asks him to kill her. You can really hear in his voice his thoughts "please don't say this, don't make me do this". And I gotta say, I absolutely love them together and no I don't find it weird. I think this episode especially makes it clear that all the variants are completely different from each other. They are all their own person. Sylvie is her own person and Loki falling in love with her is not Loki falling in love with himself, but really caring for someone else. Sylki forever

The show was actually supposed to end in season 1, but after how big episode 1 got, they changed the ending for a second season, this episode was completed around the time episode 4 aired.
The TVA is out of the multiverse, therefore, out of any possible timeline. There is only 1 TVA, that was changed by Kang's variants at the moment Sylvie killed him. That's why Mobius and B-15 can't remember Loki.

A lot of us probably were hoping for that, but that would also be very confusing for the other viewers who are also die-hard Marvel fans.
Initially there were 3 statues.. Statues of the 3 Time Keepers. Now it's changed to just one. A variant of He Who Remains. And now he is directly in charge of the TVA without using the fake Time Keepers. I guess it's like he said.. "You kill me and eventually I end up back here"... except that it's a different variant.
And also Mobius doesn't remember Loki. It's like as if the TVA was reset.

Sylvie is a selfish little child. She went from seemingly good because of accompanying a heroic ex- villain, to full on villain. By killing off the one thing that controls the flow of time for her personal vengeance, without giving a crap about the consequences it may have to zillions of lifeforms all through existence, even after being warned and reasoned by Loki.

When eternals trailer came, everyone was like "why are they coming out now, why didn't they come when thanos snap happened?" Now that all the timelines are blown and Kangs' let loose, we know the answer why are eternals coming out now.
Also since Kang mentioned 3 universes, there is high chance we get to see all three spiderman in the no way home movie. Alright guys, guess we are in for a great ride.
Eternal probably will be more"grounded" compare to Loki, nothing about the multiverse, they just facing one of the strongest cosmic entities besides Kang.
So it means kang will be also in " Eternals"?

They didn't send Loki to a 'different' TVA. There's only one TVA and only one timeline in the MCU prior to this show. Kang is a time traveler. He (or one of his variants) had already reset everyone at the TVA by the time Loki got back. Now there are multiple timelines with the branching off.
well i think kang variant knew how he was going to die. he said that u can put ur sword into my chest and that is what sylvie did and i think he wanted her to kill him thus he took his watch tempad and kept it their in front of them. he knew chaos cant be stopped just like ragnarork in asgard. btw hatts off to mcu to keep the actor's word that kang is not going to come in this series but they instead showed one of his variants. very clever i must say
Future prediction: Loki’s new mission will be to get the timeline back to just one. In doing so the universes merge and that’s how we get all the X-men and new heroes in just one universe.
Not just Loki/TVA. There's gonna be soo many parties trying to do so, Marvel is probably gonna stitch in a massive Multi-movie appearance partnership between multiple parties spearheaded by Loki, Doctor Strange, Spider-men, Scarlet Witch, The Pyms etc.

Jonathan Majors is an insanely good actor. I am beyond excited to see Kang’s variants in future movies or the second season of Loki!
another TVA means there's multiverse of multiverses
A "multiverse of multiverse" is nothing, but an omniverse. Marvel has its own multiverse, just like DC, Dragon Ball, etc. But there's no such thing as a multiverse of a multiverse.
There can be no other TVA either, because the TVA resides outside of time and space of any universe.
The TVA can only be reset/rewound, which is what Kang (another version of himself) has already done.

I like to look at it this way, its the same TVA. Even if the TVA exists outside of time, its creation still relied on "He who remains" existing to create it. With him dead another Kang variant becomes its ruler/creator

All those saying that in the end Loki reached another TVA in some another universe are forgetting that TVA operates outside any particular universe....so there's ONLY ONE TVA. Untill the death of He who remains, TVA was functioning to prevent multiversal wars & mutiversal interactions by countering nexus events and ensuring that a predetermined timeline flows in every universe......what i gathered from the end scene is that an evil variant of He who remains immediately took over TVA after sylvie killed the main variant and sabotaged the memories of TVA bureaucrats, so they've no idea what happened before....the only one who's memory is intact would be Renslayer besides Loki and sylvie...because she went somewhere earlier in the episode
it's either theres multiple tvas or just one. but mobius and loki character dynamics and history together will be thrown out of the garbage just like that if theres only one tva, do you think the writers will just trash it just like that? lets see.
This really makes sense now as we are heading towards MARVEL What If..?

Btw just for knowledge who didn't know that.. In the comics there are actually 4 time keepers and one of them was " kang the conqueror". That's why in the castle one of the statue was destroyed cuz it was kang's.

I have had lost interest in mcu after the endgame and loki brought me right back into it. Hands down the best show i have watched in recent years. They have perfectly set up the entire phase 4. Now that they set it up i am super excited to watch the phase 4.

True but I think when your whole purpose in life for thousands of years (except when she realises she found a person who loves her and cares for her) is to destroy the TVA, then it's really understandable why she would do what she did. That she only is sader than before that moment cause it didn't bring satisfaction and to do it she had to push away the only one who loved her makes it just worse.

Jaby, I think the TVA where Loki was sent to, was actually a result of Sylvie plunging her sword into Immortus (sorta good version of Kang; they don't really call him that in the show though). So, before that, there was only one timeline with one TVA. The timeline is actually the circle surrounding the citadel. So, after good guy Kang was killed, that circle starts to branch off. As a result of that, every timeline now has its own TVA, signifying that every version of Kang is now on a quest to establish their own dominance over the multiversal timeline and rule it. Or rather, "conquer" it.
Why is everyone saying that Loki went to a different timeline version of the TVA? They explained that TVA exists above all time in a pocket dimension. So there can only be one TVA. There can be 2 reasons Mobius and B-15 don't know Loki and there was a Kang statue -
1. Since He Who Remains Died and he was the one preventing any branches, so branches started growing throughout the Sacred Timeline(which also means before the creation of the TVA) and some other version of Kang (possibly evil) created this TVA and the older TVA never existed. And this version of Kang probably doesn't care about getting his hands dirty so he didn't use the fake Time Keepers.
2. If we consider that the timeline BEFORE the threshold was made according to He Who Remains and hence it cannot grow any branches even after his death then it means the branches can only begin to grow after the threshold because FREE WILL became a thing after that so some version of Kang (again possibly evil) went to our original TVA and wiped everyone's memories and took control of the TVA(original one).
And in both the cases since Loki and Sylvie were at the END OF ALL TIME when all of this was happening so they retained their memories because they were unaffected by all this chaos.
You have to refer back to Endgame when Bruce said that if you change the past your past becomes your present. After Sylvia killed the good version of Kang, time changed. The past of where there were Time Keepers, no longer exists. It is now ruled by the new variant Kang. That is why the statue was just of the single Kang.
The acting was top tier... 10/10 would watch again.

I’ve watched this conversation several times I something just dawned on me. It didn’t matter what choice the Loki’s made…a kang variant would still seek to conquer it all.
remember when mobius said he don't remember pruning alligator Loki its because different version of TVA pruned him. they were foreshadowing it. makes sense how they deal with many variants from multiple universe becoz there are too many variants to handle in just one universe itself.

I don’t think Sylvia ever cared about the whole free will thing to begin with. In the end, she wanted Kang dead for what the TVA did to her, not anyone else. It also felt a very selfish move to make considering his death could potentially start a multiversal war killing billions, regardless of whether free will is a thing or not. Sylvia could have easily enchanted kang to see if he was telling the truth, perhaps she didn’t want to know because it might sway her decision to kill him if if she knew the potential ramifications

So the basic story is kang is a different variant of "he who remains" where he was playing defensive , but other variant like kang are pure evil...because he died and multiverse opened... there are many timelines exist... and it's obvious that one of the kang version again end the multiversal war...and set up TVA .. where loki found himself in the end .. It's an endless loop. . When someone kill who run the authority... multiverse opens... and then all variant of kang again involve in war. . And the one who is strongest again build the TVA to eliminate other kang..
If u all forgot, All this started because of hulk taking the stairs. XD

Sylvie didn't send Loki to a different TVA; TVA was changed right after the threshold was crossed & He Who Remains got killed, and another Kang took over the TVA during that time. Since time travel is a thing, a few seconds could have been decades or centuries passed and everything is changed.

just to clarify there are no mutliple TVAs, they clearly stated at the beginning of the series, that they act outside the mutliverse... Loki got send back to the same place but with a different outcome since another variant of Kang took control

edit: But wasn't Kang a human in the comics that just had time travel tech? That was why he said he came from Earth Jaby. Kang isn't an alien.
